Dodge Intrepid

No...the rim will hit the caliper on the front.

We have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid and it has 249,300 on it. The alternator and radiator have been replaced and a broken wire has been replaced on the transmission. This car has the 2.7L engine.

$360-$450 for the compressor

R/T stands for road and track.

The 1995 Dodge Intrepid does not have and ODB2 port, the Intrepids didn't introduce ODB2 until 1996.

The order is 1-2-3-4-5-6

Cam sensor on 1996 Dodge intrepid 3.5 V6 is on the driver's side on top where the cam gear turns on the front of the engine.. Usually has a 90 deg. connector for the wires.. MUST be air gapped correctly to work proplerly.. DO NOT Bottom the sensor out against the cam gear unless the new sensor has a card board disc glued to the end of the sensor to set the gap... i had the same problem with my 02 intrepid it was the idler pulley to the ac belt $19 to fix it.

Unless they've changed from 94-97: Jack up car. use stands for safety. remove master cylander cover. remove tire. use prybar/ long screwdrivers to open the space between pads as far as possible. remove 2 10mm bolts from inner side of calipers. slide everything off. use screwdriver to pry old pads off caliper. install new pads. put back together. repeat on other wheel. replace master cyl cap. crank car and pump brakes a few times to tighten up pads to rotor. check level in master cyl. jack down. time from jack up to jack down about an hour.

REMOVAL Always remove the ignition coil assembly by grasping at the spark plug boot, turning the assembly 1/2 turn and pulling straight back in a steady motion. # Prior to removing the spark plug, spray compressed air around the coil area and spark plug. # Remove electrical connector from ignition coil. On 3.5L engines, it is necessary to loosen the screws by alternating back and forth. Do not lose the spacers under the coil when loosening the screws. # Remove 2 fasteners from ignition coil. # Remove ignition coil assembly. # Remove the spark plug using a quality socket with a rubber or foam insert. # Inspect the spark plug condition. Always remove the ignition coil assembly by grasping at the spark plug boot, turning the assembly 1/2 turn and pulling straight back in a steady motion. # To avoid cross threading, start the spark plug into the cylinder head by hand. # 3.5L engines tighten spark plugs to 28 N

Three bolts hold it to the engine.

I have worked in MoPar service departments for 12 years and was a ASE certified tech., unfortunately my Intrepid also needs a thermostat and I couldn't believe where they configured the location, it's completely nuts. I would say your mechanic is just about correct unless something goes wrong and it takes longer.

all i know is that it is in the bottom rad hose

The canister purge solenoid is hooked to the brake booster next to the master cyllinder. It's not a fun place to get to either. You will have to take one of the nuts off to the master cylinder to get it out. The solenoid is a black, plastic part that looks like a little trash can with two hoses and a wire harness sticking out of it. Hope this helps, I have a 2003 and have to change out mine this weekend.

Chrysler really doesn't use a fuel shut-off switch; they use a relay that shuts off the fuel pump when (among other things) the distributor pulse is lost, indicating the engine is no longer turning over. This relay is called an auto shut-down relay or ASD relay.

NO, it doesn't fold down. You can pop out the bottom bench and unscrew the seat belt bolts and you should be able to take the seat off.

There are 2 large 7/16ths screws (both colored black), both on the top of the headlight assembly. Remove both of them, then pull the assembly out towards the front of the car. You might have to pull out on the bottom of the assembly first to remove it. Once the assembly is removed, look at the back of it...The Low beam bulb is the one closest to the yellow signal bulb. The other one, furthest away from the signal bulb is the high beam. Remove the wire clip from the bulb you want to change (you might have to use a small screwdriver to release the plastic catch). Once the wiring is removed, turn the light socket counterclockwise (looking at the back of the assembly) to remove the bulb from the assembly. Just reverse the procedure to put the new bulb into the assembly. When done, put the assembly back in place and replace the two long screws.

It is called a Flasher Relay and is located, front seating area, driver side, under dash, under knee protector, mounted in multi-purpose fuse panel. It's black and looks like a relay and has Chrysler flasher part # 47600060 on it.

Trouble code P0389 means:Crankshaft position sensor B circuit intermittent

Pass side under the hood. The positive is closer to the head light, the negative is on the strut tower.

Throttle position sensor circuit low.

It can be done... but honestly you'd save alot of time and money by just buying a Charger already equipped with the 3.5 V6.

Sorry, only a scanner can retrieve trouble codes on OBDII vehicles.....
