The speedometer signal comes from the rear axle abs sensor.
After removing and replacing the seat How do you reset the airbag seat alarm light on your Dodge?
I found out the hard way that disconnection of the seat monitoring cables will result in your computer requireing a reset from someone with the proper computer software. This has to be done by the dealer.

How do you replace the egr valve on a 2005 Dodge Magnum?
It is pretty simple.
Remove the connector by sliding back the lock with a flat head screw driver and pull out the connector.
Then remove the two flange bolts attached to the EGR valve body. Be sure to keep the gasket.
Pull out the tube assembly from the valve and manifold.
Remove the EGR bolts from the heads. This is a little tricky since there is not a lot of room so you may be running to sears for extensions or deep sockets 10 mm (I think).
For installation, just reverse the procedure. Good Luck!

2005 Dodge magnum parking light fuse keeps blowing?
Fuses That "Blow" Repeatedly
Without being able to "hands on" troubleshoot the circuit served by the repeatedly blowing fuse, none of us can identify the specific defect which is causing your problem.
Therefore, the following generic answer can be applied to any electrical circuit, whether in a vehicle, or in a building, or whether alternating current [AC] or direct current [DC].
Fuses [and Circuit Breakers] are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] and other components from short circuit conditions and/or overload conditions which cause an extremely large flow of electrical current [measured in Amperes], which causes overheating of the conductors that results in damage to the insulation and the conductors.
And in a worst case scenario, the probability of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle, house, or other structure in which the circuit is located.
When a fuse or Circuit Breaker [and replacement fuses, or "tripping" Circuit Breakers] "blow," especially if it happens repeatedly, is an indication of an UNSAFE CONDITION in that circuit, usually a short.
The fuse or circuit breaker is doing what it was designed, intended, and installed to do, protect the conductors and components of the circuit which it serves.
The proper "fix" is for a qualified electrical technician, who knows what he or she is doing, to troubleshoot the involved circuit, find and identify the defect, and make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with the properly sized fuse or before resetting a circuit breaker].
Some ignorant people will suggest installing a larger fuse or breaker to solve the problem, BUT that will only increase the hazard, not correct it.
Do not follow "bad" advice by installing a larger fuse in a misguided attempt to correct the problem. To install an over-sized fuse would almost guarantee damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire
Why would 3 out of 4 speakers stopped playing on a 2005 dodge magnum?
There is a factory recall on the stereo system. Take it to a Dodge dealership.
How much hp does a 1997 dodge magnum have?
It depends on how many hamsters you have healthy in that pig. Usually it has about 17-18 hp to the rear wheels which means the only thing you can outrun is a Renault Le Car. You'd be better of with one of those Fred Flintstone cars!
How do you stop condensation in Dodge Magnum taillights?

Which is a stronger truck a Dodge or a Ford?
It depends on the year/model/trim/engine/what catergory (payload, towing, performance, frame, engine) and your brand loyalty. Truck guys are very brand loyal and usually don't state facts. A good example is Ford's superduty were they use the (class 4) F-450's performance # and NOT the (class 3) F-350's to compare against the ram(class 3) 3500. The F-450 isn't a residential model and is really a commercial model. The Maximum rated numbers listed on their website(of any model/engine combo offered):
2016 F-350 2016 RAM 3500
GCWR*(gross combined weight rating) - 35,000 lbs 37,900 lbs.
*The max legal weight of truck/payload and trailer
Towing (trailer weight) conventional hitch/ 5th wheel- 19,000/ 26,500 lbs. ?/ 30,000 lbs.
GVWR (gross combined weight rating) - 14,000 lbs 14,000 lbs.
* The max legal weight of truck and payload
Payload - 7,050 lbs. 7,390 lbs.
Max engine power
Gasoline - (6.2L V8) 385 hp/405 lb-ft (6.4L V8) 410 hp/429 lb-ft
Diesel - (6.7L V8) 440 hp/ 860 lb-ft (6.7L I6) 385hp/865 lb-ft
Ram claims to have the strongest frame with it's hydroformed frame rated at 50,000psi. Ford's 6.x L diesels have had horrible reliability compared to the cummins. The duramax diesel are better than the 6.x powerstrokes and almost a good as the cummins, IMHO. All you have to do is go to a competitive diesel truck pulling contest and see 65% cummins, 25% duramax and only 10% powerstroke. Fords were always cheaper to buy(until recently)/maintain than Rams so their production #'s are significantly greater, so people think they are better(not true).
you need to have the engine tuned on a machine by the mechanic, the timing could need reset.
Also, Dodge Magnums have an anti-slip mechanism which if engaged, cause this sort of lag. There's a button on the dash you can disable this feature with.
