I have the same type of car a 06 dodge stratus sxt sedan and mine is located on the driver side by the door. you will need to remove the panel where your fuses are located and it is at the bottom right. hope this helps.

Brake are something that you should not play around with unless you have a good idea of what you are doing, if you screw it up the results can be fatal. You have not indicated front or rear and if the rear are disc or drum. Therefore I would suggest that you buy the Haynes or other manual (approx $20.00 at CTC) for your vehical read the section on brakes. Then get someone who knows what the are doing to show you how it is done.

yea. i have a 01 rt on 20's an it fits fine. only 1 tire rubs but its brand new so its still very thick. i also have spaces on the back tires which are cheap an easy to put on

It is recommended to check fluid in a warm engine, not an overheated engine.

According to the service manual the gap should be 0.050" or 1.25 mm.

It is in the middle of the dash, inside the hvac housing.

You can just pull on the trim ring that goes around the heater control and stereo area and it will snap right out. To remove the factory stereo, you have to poke a stiff wire into the little holes near the sides/edges of the stereo to release the retaining clips and pull out on it at the same time. Then unplug the wires from the back of it. The new one will not usually have the same plug for the wires on it so you have to go to a car audio store and tell them the year of your Dodge and they will sell you one that will fit. It cost me about 20.00 when I did it but it was better than cutting the wires and splicing them and possibly messing something up in the process.

You have to know whats wrong with the transmission before you can fix it.

start by taking off the driver side front bumper. its located right in front of the driver side wheel the rest should be easy.

A good way to adjust brakes (DRUM BRAKES, as this doesnt apply to disc brakes )

is to

1) Park the car

2) Pull the e-brake

3) Put it in 1st gear

4) Give a little gas until the back end of the car lowers ( just a little bit)

5) put it in neutral, release the e-brake and pull it again

6) put the car in reverse

7) give it a little gas until the back end rises ( again a little bit )

8) Release the e-brake put it on park and press the brake pedal several times.

The key here is to hear the drum brakes make a clinking sound as the pads get adjusted. Do not give to much gas.

I had a similar problem with a 2000 ford focus. The rear drums were always breaking too softly, I discussed it with my mechanic and that's the technique he gave me. It works just fine.

It would be a wise idea to have them checked if you changed them long ago, or if it is a recurring problem.

It does not have a fuel temp sensor.
