Where is the Ground wire on alternator from battery?
There usually isn't one. The vehicle becomes the ground, and since the alternator is physically attached to the engine, the case of the alternator becomes the ground. Note that the battery is also connected to the vehicle chassis, usually at 2 or more points, and that the engine usually has a grounding strap to some solid point on the chassis.
What condition must be met in order for an alternator to deliver power to a power line?
The generator has to be synchronized to the power line before it can be connected. If connected out of phase there is a chance that the generator will motorize and this could break the crankshaft of the prime mover.
Why does Ac trip breaker when on heat it doesn't?
That tells me the problem is with the outdoor unit. Most likely a dead compressor or fan motor. Additionally, your indoor and outdoor units are not on the same breaker.
Could a damaged Ethernet port result in a poor Internet connection?
it depends if you also have wifi but to anwser is yes it would have poor internet
When your hot water tank heats up it will start to leak out the pressure valve Why?
1- excessive pressure 2- excessive temperature
One option is to purchase rechargeable batteries that have a larger capacity. Rechargeable batteries that come with 2400mAh of capacity have a larger capacity because of their material properties. Increasing a batteries capacity would require chemical or mechanical alteration of the battery which can be very dangerous.
You may also increase the capacity of any battery by wiring it in parallel with another battery of the same voltage. In other words, connect the negative terminal of one to the negative terminal of the other, the positive terminal of one to the positive terminal of the other, and then connect both positives to the positive input of your device and both negatives to the negative side of your device.
Hi 720 & thank you for taking time to answer my question.
Having read your answer I can see that my question was somewhat poorly written.
What I should of asked was can I replace the rechargeable 1600mAh batteries that were supplied in a pair of hair clippers with 2400mAh batteries without causing any harm.
My concern being that the motor could possibly draw too much current and overheat or something along those lines.
Regards dm7
Ah, yes, if you keep the same voltage your circuits should not have any problems. Since the circuit load doesn't change and the input voltage is the same, there's no risk of drawing anything other than normal current! Ohms law tells us this: V=IZ or I=V/Z where Z is the impedance of your electronic device, I is the current, and V is the battery voltage. Capacity does not even come into play!

PS: I use batteries of different capacities in my digital camera all the time!
That's great & thanks, I will leave mixing compounds to the experts and buy ready made batteries in the morning - dm7
Why it is important to remove all jewelry before working around batteries?
Jewelry is usually made of highly conductive metals and could easily short across the battery terminals if the jewelry comes into contact with them.
Open-element means that there is heat being created by a device. The heat may come from elements like fire or coils. A grill, an electric hotplate, or a gas stove are all open-element cooking devices. If you're looking for something that isn't open element, try an induction-cooker. The heating is achieved through magnetism and they only work with compatible 'induction' pots and pans. Also, some newer standard electric hotplates have this feature, but aren't as energy efficient as induction-cookers.
How do you check mega ohms on compressor?
Usually you check mega-ohms by reading the resistance between compressor shell and the windings. There should be a large amount of resistance which means the windings are not shorted to the compressor case or shell. Use a DVM (digital volt ohm meter) to check the resistance.
When a trimmer capacitor has maximum distance between the plates will the capcitance be at maximum?
No it is the opposite. The closer the plates are together the higher the capacitance. This is given by the forumua: C = [(2.2479 x 10^-13) x K x A] / d where d is the distance between the plates. Which means that C is inversely proportional to the distance between the plates.
How to solve electricity problems?
This a too broad of a question. You have a few options:
1. hire an experienced electrician or
2. be able to identify your specific electrical issue and have the tools to deal with it.
(for example: I turn the light switch on and the breaker trips. What do I do?)
in this situation we could answer your question.
How many phases are there in the error disk checking process?
It depends on the specific diagnostic program. There is usually various data patterns, transfers of data between different sectors, tests that exercise head movement and so forth.
How do you turn your kobo on when it is completely dead and will not take a charge?
Replace the battery?
Which of the following can be considered as a Computer Hardware Servicing competency?
Hard to say when there is nothing following.
What could be causing the fan on an Acer Aspire 8943G to rattle and how can it be fixed?
Reasons the fan could be rattling is because it is missing a blade, it could be dirty, or is just getting worn out. The only way to fix it would be to open your computer up and taking a closer look. If it's dirty you can use compressed air to clean it out. If it is broken you can order a replacement fan. Most of the time things that rattle when spinning is because they are out of balance, it could be broken, worn out, or dirty.

Copper cable size for 75 kw motor in star delta connection?
To answer the question the voltage of the motor is needed as the wires size is calculated from the FLA of the motor.

What would you do if the condenser motor smokes out?
Stop it, remove it from the system, get it thouroughly checked before re deploying.
What is the accptable value in ohms for a good earthing system?
10 ohms or less is considered a good earth ground reference. The lower, the better.
What wire carries the current away from the appliance?
for safety purposes the safety ground
in normal operation, both the hot and neutral alternately
What does vss stand for in electronics?
In electronic circuits, Vss is ground or 0v and Vdd is the the positive supply. The s and d come from the source and drain connections on MOS transistor devices. In a similar way Vcc is also the positive supply, the c coming from the collector on bipolar transistors. The terms Vcc and Vdd are normally interchangeable.
Why is the LED light on my GHD hair straighteners flickering?
There is either a short or loose wire. If there is a bulb, it could be going bad.
IT IS IN THE WIREING SOMEWHERE. YOU NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE CHECK ALL OF THE WIRING TO MAKE SURE NOTHING HAS COME LOOSE OR BEEN CUT IN HALF.
