What are 5 reasons why electronics shouldn't be allowed in school?
It can distract students. For example, you can be trying to engage in a friendly conversation with a person that has an ipod in, but you're completely ignored. Next, electronics can be easily stolen. For example. Students that bring personal property on the school premises, is bringing it at their own risk. Secondly, if an electronic was stolen the students would be disappointed. Is capacitor used in TV on and off button?
A small high voltage rated capacitor is often used over a mains power switch with the intention to reduce the spark which might occur within the switch, particularly when switching off the unit. The intention is to reduce stress on the switch's contacts and to reduce impairments on the mains distribution.
Most modern devices, however, are permanently under power. When 'off,' they draw a small amount of power to sustain vital functions such as sensing of an electronic on/off switch and monitoring the infra red receiver required to turn on the unit using a remote control. On/off switches designed in this manner do not incur the spark mentioned above, and their surrounding circuitry is generally designed differently.

Why is my headphone set only doing background noise?
Asker here, ok, some background. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened, after a while of using them, a pair of headphones that i have stop working right. They do only background noise (they only do the music in songs and not the words, that kinda stuff) am i like, rolling over the chord with my chair, or is it the computer or what? the times they work are getting shorter and only one set of clunky old headset has survived. I just got a fancy expensive pair and put them in 2 weeks ago and they died (they had been acting up and only working if i tugged on the chord for a day) how do i stop it??

It's basically physics;
If you buy a product and install it without going through the effort to organize your cables, what happens is that the energy under your desk area (computer, monitor, surge protectors, and so forth) are creating electrical heat waves that push your cables,wires,etc in millimeters amongst seconds. Which will eventually tangle your wires over a period of time. Another theory, is an average person working in a desk related job does not realize that they are creating the tangles of their cables, wires, etc. by unknowingly moving their equipment, kicking their feet around under their desk, adding more equipment and not doing a cable touch up. Earthquakes would mix things up for sure haha. lol. duh
