Take off the dash pad, pull the gauge cluster and change the bulbs.

Dimmer Control knob, Pull out and check wires there. If power to wires check resistance on back of dimmer control. Mine went to infinate. Loosened nut on front and pushed rod / stud back in, checked again and had some resistance. reassembled placing nut on less tight. Works like new. Will be buying a replacement unit but I now can wait until I have time to get there.

Replacing the heater core on this vehicle is fairly straightforward and simple. It's surprisingly accessible.

First, drain the engine coolant (from the radiator).

Then, on the passenger side, remove the panel on the left side of the floorboard. It's velcroed in there. There are no screws to remove, etc.

Once that piece is removed, the heater core lines coming in from the firewall are clearly visible going into the heater core. There is one plastic bracket with a single screw holding it in. Remove the screw and the plastic bracket.

Next, if you follow the lines from the firewall to the heater core, you'll see two black plastic pieces where the lines connect to the heater core itself. I used a screwdriver to flip the pieces open. Be careful not to break them. Once they're off, the heater core lines simply pull out of the heater core. Be careful to have a bucket of some sort under the lines, because you will loose coolant into the footwell if you don't.

After the heater core lines are pulled out, you can simply slide the heater core itself out.

If you know nothing about front ends, you need to get the vehicle checked out ASAP by either a friend that knows about cars, or a good shop. Excessively worn tie rod ends & centerlinks have been known to come apart when you least expect them to.

The switch is located on the passenger side fender wall, under the dash, inside the cab. My is a black box about the size of half pack of smokes, with a white button on top.

The flasher unit is behind kick panel between the steering colume and emergency brake release cliped to its own hanger. It's a small black box measuring about 1.5"by 3"and it controls both turn signals and emergency flashers.

Find out where the wear is in the steering linkage. Idler arm and tie rod ends most likely.

as long as you havent modified the lug pattern, yes they fit the bronco's 5x5.5 setup.
