I do not recommend this, but the MSDS for acrylonitrile (starting material to make "acrylic" fibers and paints) states the odor resembles "mild peach kernels (slight)". It would be safer to buy a peach, eat it, wash off and dry out the kernel, cut it open, and take a wiff. Acrylonitrile is VERY bad for you.

One possible reason is arcing inside the lamp socket. Loose bulbs can arc inside the socket. One sure sign of arcing is if the light "flickers" when it is on. Take the bulb out of the fixture and examine the contacts on the base. If any part of the base appears burned, there is arcing inside the socket. Arcing can cause a bulb to blow prematurely. Make sure the bulb is tight when istalling a new one. The best cure is to replace either the socket if it's removable, or the whole fixture if it's not. Also if it's an enclosed fixture, the heat from the light bulb can get trapped inside, causing the bulb to overheat, thereby causing it to fail prematurely. This is likely if you have too large a light bulb in the fixture, i.e. using a 100 watt bulb in a fixture designed for a 60 watt bulb. Try a lower wattage bulb.

Sounds like a defective switch on the driver's door disconnected wires on either door or you have a lock out switch turned on...

with driver door, i suggest pulling your "panel" off and verify your switch is actually connected and if it is, then replace the switch

if you're asking "why wont they come off".........there is an inner retaining ring that has to be removed. behind the hub assembly that is. its hard to see with all the grease and is a pain to remove. I used two small picks or screwdrivers. I hope that's what you meant.

They are always hardened as a general rule. This prevents deformation of the screws under stresses. They also usually have a black oxide treatment to prevent rusting. The fact that set screws are hard often has a side effect that causes them to "dig in" to contacting softer materials. This could be a good or bad thing. I am not sure exactly how hard they are, but they are very hard... as hard as a most drill bits (which is very hard), and they rupture under very high stress or shock with little elasticity.

the schrader valve is were you put the air in your tire it has a little 'looks like a bobby pin head'' in side with a spring when you put air in it puses down inside to let air in when you take the hose off it goes back up! if you hear or feel air coming out you can buy springs and a little tool at the parts store to replace the part hope this answers your question
