Why would a fuel-injected 1986 Honda Prelude crank but not start when hot?

Supposedly, there is a main relay (located in driver's compartment, under dash?) that gets "distant" when it gets hot. The engine will crank, but that's it. Solution is to replace main relay (Dealer>$70), re-solder every connection in the relay/circuit board to eliminate whatever connection is cracked (& heat spreading), or air out the interior of your car until it is cool enough to fool the main relay . . .

Where is the factory amp located on a 1988 Ford Bronco II?

I`m Almost Certain Your Question Is About The Radio. The Amps Right Channel & Left Channel Are Inside The Stereo. If You Are Trying To Increase You Sound Output Opt For An Aftermarket Stereo System. Good Luck Some Ford cars and trucks ( I have a 1996 Bronco Full Size XLT) have a "premium" stereo package that includes an external amp. The head unit does not actually drive the speakers. This amp is often in the rear of the car, try looking in the side panels towards the back. Or contact a Ford dealer and if they are nice they can look it up on microfilm.

What is a pb blaster?

There are lots of penetrants (lubricants designed to help loosen corroded or rusty connections) out there, and all make big claims when it comes to getting things apart. Is there any difference between any of them? There are lots out there -- PB Blaster, WD-40, Liquid Wrench, Goeey Booey -- but are they all the same or do any stand out?

Why PB Blaster? Why PB Blaster, you ask? Heck, we have no idea. Do I look like a chemist? Whatever's in it, PB Blaster can really get the job done. We've used lots of juices to try to get things loose, and nothing seems to measure up to PB. It works better and faster, and longer, than the other stuff we've had around. Soak a rusty connection and let the juice do the work. PB Blaster will eat deep into the rust and corrosion to help free the nut or bolt. To really rock it, combine PB with a blast of heat from a small torch and you're sure to have things freed up quick.

Added 5/20/10 -- I personally work for the Advertising Agency for B'laster Corporation and the PB in PB B'laster stands for Penetrating B'laster.

Are all 5.0 blocks the same like mustang 5.0 and bronco 5.0?

No, although the blocks have the same mounting positions, the blocks can differ between models and makes. some 5.0 blocks have 4 bolt mains, and some cars used different parts such as the oil pumps and pans to fit in the engine bay. The best thing to do would be to buy a haynes repair manual and find a block that will match yours. If you had the whole engine, a 5.0 swap should be fairly simple.
