You will see a plastic door/panel that you simply pull loose (there's a thumb indentation to grab onto). Once you remove that access panel you will find another smaller access cover, about 1.5 by 6 inches, that you remove. Once you do that you will see the small air filter. No tools are required, and the entire access and replacement takes less than 2 minutes.
