I assume that you are talking about the seat squab, or base.

There are clips welded to the floor. These clips look a bit like the number 1. They face towards the rear of the car though. Metal loops on the underside of the seat base hook under the top part of the "number 1".

To unclip the base, you have to firmly push the base down and rearwards, then upwards. This sounds harder than it is.

To clip the base back in, you need to carefully line up the loops on the sloping part, at the top of the clips. Then push the base down, firmly. You will feel the loops slide down the slope and then pop under the clip.

The backrests should unbolt. Just flip them forward and you should find bolts under the carpet. Although, you probably wont need to remove these, if fitting seat covers.

The side bolsters are held in place by a bolt at the bottom and by the striker plate, for the backrest lock.

That normally happens if your alternator is not charging, or if your Battery cell is faulty. This will result to your car not starting. One always leads to the other. Do one of 3 things, check if your alternator brushes are still in good shape. Check thetension of your v-belt and that the alternator is tightly installed. Have your battery checked out at your nearest battery centre.

In most cases, the Ford dealer/workshop are pretty good at letting you take a look at the books. Just be careful not to think too much about the smartlock system, as this can get very confusing. You are better off going and asking where to find the cable, and what colours you are looking for. Hope this helps as it worked for me.

don't bother. i know about 99% of the time the brake lights don't work are because the brake light switch on the brake pedal has failed. I've changed about 50 of the dam things. their a weak point especially on the the au falcons.

first, 19 ft lb

second,30 ft lb

third,plus a 90 deg turn on each bolt.

follow tightening sequence.

retorque after 500 klm.wait till engine cools.

note, specs on gasmiser head gasket.

iv had the same thing happen to me ther are a fue things i might be 1 the coil lead is old and not carrying spark 2 the coil is stufft 3 try unpluging the wires to the coil and cleaning/spraing them and do the same to the computer

take return hose off the back of the power steering pump clamped one not pressure one put in bottle run engine until the hose stops running , don't run long after this as pump will seize can run for approx 15 - 20 seconds replace hose fill and run then top up with new oil

Shouldn't-they are entirely electrical and pump is to maintain a certain pressure to the rail at all times. that pressure should be maintained if injectors are working or not . If it's not running, it's probably because it detects car not on. Most just prime but don't stay on unless engine starts.

You cant! They are a sealed unit. IF its playing up you need to get it serviced if not they are service free

you may want to try this: - remove the center cover (horn switch)(im not so familiar the names of the parts) of your steering wheel by removing the screws underneath. - remove the steering wheel. You may use your cross tire wrench to remove the nut that holds the steering wheel. pull-off the steering wheel. - unscrew the plastic covers of the steering rod/tube. - disconnect the snap-in connection of the electrical wirings of the ignition switch - unscrew the holder (metal belt) of the ignition barrel. - an ordinary locksmith can fix your ignition switch.

From memory there are 4 screws per side. Take off the two round rubber covers and one round plastic cover on the inside of the door behind the mirror. You also have to remove the triangular plastic cover inside the door (it is held on by 2 lugs and pulls straight off). There is a screw under each cover. Once the screws are undone, the mirror will come away from the car. You then just have to unplug the remote electric cable. It is easy to accidentally drop the screws down inside the door once they are loose. If you haven't already bought the replacment mirrors, new ones are normally available from some wreckers for abourt $75 each. Hope this helps George upside_g@hotmail.com

I bought mine for around $23.00, problem with it was some days left blinker would go mad like a blown globe on one light but as all globes functioning it would seem they can get "touchy" with age.

yes but you need clutch linkage, pedal change, and a 3 speed column change to start. Also need to look at drive shaft length and rear end gear ratio. Always easier to go from manual to auto trans than auto to manual.
