Franchising

Franchising refers to the practice of using a successful business model of another company. For the franchisor, a franchise is a substitute to developing ‘chain stores’ to distribute goods and avoid liability and investment over a chain.

What are the steps in setting up a trailer?

Answer

I can tell you what I saw the installers do when they set up our trailer years ago. First you have to have a concrete pad that has hurricane strap anchors in it. Next the trailer needs to be leveled. They used large jacks and shimmed it using concrete block peices. Then the wiring, plumbing, and duct work is ran. Then the insulation for the bottom of the trailer is done. Lastly is the underpinning or whatever method of inclosing the bottom perimeter of the trailer. That's all I can tell you. Good luck.

What are the royalty fees associated with the Dominos pizza franchise?

I was a Domino's Franchisee in the UK until 2010 (so I don't know if they've changed since) but it was approx 12% of your sales after the VAT was deducted.

This was payable to corporate for not only the use of the brand name, image and logo's, but also included a contribution to the national advertising fund (NAF) - for instance the sponsoring of The Simpson's on Sky One and Channel 4 and Britain's Got Talent on ITV

This figure may be different in other markets and represent other contributions.

If you bought a used car from a franchise dealership and the car has more issues that were brought to your attention can you return it within 3 days The car is a 2006 Nissan 350z.?

The answer is probably no. I may depend on: what state you live in and where the sale was closed. If, for example, you lived in Colorado and the dealer came to your house to close the deal, then yes, you have three business days (does not include Sunday) to return the car. If the deal was done at the dealership, there is not a 3 day right to recind the contract. This is true in most states. There is no lemon law on used cars. If you believe the dealer lied to you and covered things up, like non-disclosure of a previous accident that they knew about, then you can go to your state's dealer "police" and file a complaint. I would start with the dealership and try to get your complaint resolved with them first. Your car may or may not have a warranty to cover your problem. Good luck, NASCAR Tom There is no overall right to return or recind a car purchase contract. Once it is executed/completed it is done. Some dealers may provide the ability to return it as part of their agreement, however they likely have many fee's involved to do so...(as well they should: your changing your mind should cost you, not them). In any of these types of car purchase/return questions - the first thing to do is look at is that stack of paperwork you got when you agreed to the deal...you know, especially the one you signed and initialed, probably several times, and likely has a big bold heading like "Contract for Sale and Agreement for Purchase". See what it says about ways and reasons you can return the car, required notices, rights to cancel, warranties, etc. This is what YOU agreed to. Not reading it (or saying you didn't understand it) - and now wanting it to be enforced only as to what you think you would have wanted it to be then...- that is just foolish. But, look at it, maybe there are grounds... Once you bought it (you and them signed and agreed to the terms, conditions and did the work on the contracts and titles), it is yours now, (and for them to accept it back, you both need to do the same things...agree/conditions/titles/etc. again). And even in the dealers where they advertise a return policy...better read it...at the very least you will be expected to pay for all the liscence, sales, registration, paperwork, etc., fees, and probably something for the fact the car, once sold...even if never moved, cannot be sold as "new" again...by law...New cars have favorable financing, rebates, some have non transferrable warranties on things, etc. available...so they probably have some calculation for those costs. Rightfully, your the one who made a new car a used one. The 3 day cancel frequently thought of is generally not applicable: Generally, the 3-day cooling off period applies to contracts signed in the customer's home - not at a company's place of business - for consumer goods worth $25 or more. And th contract must be pending…it can't be cancelled if the whatever was done….it is a right to cancel a contract…not reurn things…and the a car contract is no longer pending once you have the car and title…it is completed. If this cancellation period applies, it should be stated in the contract.

What is the difference between licensing and franchising?

Every franchise contains a license. Many licenses, on the other hand, are really disguised, illegal franchises. It doesn't matter what terms are used to define the relationship. What is critical are the presence of certain key elements that will define the relationship.

Is Pizza Hut the largest pizza franchise?

According to Franchise Direct (link below), Pizza Hut is the largest, followed by Domino's then Papa John's.

The largest doesn't necessarily mean the best pizza; taste in pizza varies widely. The largest is an indicator of the best business model coupled with the most competent franchisees.
