In '97 it's located in the exhaust pipe right near the Cat Conv, I just saw it last week when mine was in the air. Could it still be in the same place or near there in 2000? It's worth a look. If you can't get your' up on a lift, just try and find a curb and drive so the car is part on the road and part on the curb side and then you've got lots of space to climb under. Hope your search is fruitful.

go to a wrecker and find a truck with a power steering setup, there are a few out there.

The transmission is completely different in these two. The Sidekick has an integral transfer case, the Samurai is divorced (separate) transfer case.

Although anything may be possible I have never seen this conversion and it will not 'Bolt' on.

will go to Limphome mode and suck gas. 15mpg is reported.

this happens when there are many bad sensors on car and ecu can control fuel properly.

check all sensors .

if after 96 and newer , you can monitor them with OBD2 full scan tools.

which way do you turn the harmonic balancer bolt on a 95 geo tracker to loosen it

Could possibly be the electric fuel pump is not producing enough pressure. Or the fuel filter is clogged from not changing it, or a bad load of gas clogged it. Perform fuel pressure test if filter is OK

My 1990 geo gets 29-31 mpg. My odometer reads 280'000+ but Idont know how correct that is. I have a '91 that gets 35-36 mpg on the freeway and it's an automatic.

GEo is such as acid plants. You can find them in a river

If you are lucky, a junkyard will have some. If not, I hear that some aftermarket soft tops come with necessary hardware, though I can't guarantee that.

That's pretty much a dealer-item. You can probably get one from a wrecking yard. They probably don't wear out that often so you can feel reasonably safe with a used one.

if TOB screams when you press the clutch it is bad.

if it collapes the clutch will be very hard to control.

if it desecrates, no more clutch at all. no shifting.

pull tranny ,

replace PP, disc, TOB and pilot bearing ALWAYS as a set.

5hours out and 5 in , max.

i pull motor faster. do in 3out and in. record time.

depends if car is 2wd , 4wd, (xfr case is extra work) but pulling engine makes the above line not true

It's not technically a color it's a shade like black.

The fuses are only one link in making headlights work. Other things to check are:

* headlight switch * all electrical wiring associated with headlamps * the headlamp bulb socket may have dirty contacts * the headlamp bulb may be burned out

You need to remove the transmission from the vehicle. Most people would take this to a repair shop.
