When I had the same problem it was the starter solenoid. It is built on the starter so you have to replace both. After the starter/solenoid was replaced I had no more problems.

P.S. If you take it to most major auto parts places they can check the starter but not the solenoid mine showed good but after I replaced it I never had that problem again.

there is no fuel shut off

but pulling the fuel pump relay kills it as does pulling dome and tail fuses.

its acually all of the colors when you shine a light through a prisim all the light hits it thus all the colors are hitting it so when they shine through the other side its called transmission and it makes a sort of rainbow or just a couple colors also light hits objects all of the colors hit it but just one is reflected into your eye .

simply to get more power I "believe" that 1991 was the first year for the 16v. I have a 1990, and mine is an 8 valve. Hope this helps. -Tony

In '97 it's located in the exhaust pipe right near the Cat Conv, I just saw it last week when mine was in the air. Could it still be in the same place or near there in 2000? It's worth a look. If you can't get your' up on a lift, just try and find a curb and drive so the car is part on the road and part on the curb side and then you've got lots of space to climb under. Hope your search is fruitful.

The transmission is completely different in these two. The Sidekick has an integral transfer case, the Samurai is divorced (separate) transfer case.

Although anything may be possible I have never seen this conversion and it will not 'Bolt' on.

which way do you turn the harmonic balancer bolt on a 95 geo tracker to loosen it

Could possibly be the electric fuel pump is not producing enough pressure. Or the fuel filter is clogged from not changing it, or a bad load of gas clogged it. Perform fuel pressure test if filter is OK
