each light has a little slot on each plastic cover where you could put a screwdriver along the side. put the screwdriver in it a pull down the plastic piece is only snapped in. once you pull it down the piece comes off exposing the bulb. than you just pull the bulb out and replace it. I have a 2002 Envoy and I have the same problem. I have to insert a pen or pencil in the hole right up under the ignition switch and push a wire to get my keys out. It gets old but what caused this I have no idea. I think it is something in the shift linkage.
