i replaced the fuse on my 2006 chey colrado licence plate and it still doesnt work

right above where your feet go on the passenger side of the truck. it is held in with two screws and has two connecters. one is a 7 pin, the other is a four pin. g. m. should recall this part. mine has been replaced two times and needs to be replaced again.also check the seven pin connecter at the harness side. mine melted. and coincidently enuogh they sell the connecter for another $35.00.

If you have a (casting plug) or what is commonly called a (freeze plug) that is leaking the only repair is to replace it.

Depending on the exhaust system, there will be one before and one after each catalytic converter

To add to this answer in depth. i changed from a 350 to a 454. the 454 had a th400 transmission and the 350 had a th350 transmission. (This was a 4x4 so we had to use the th350 transmission because it had a married transfer case)the th400 flywheel did NOT match the th350 torque converter. We installed the th400 converter and it fit perfect in the th350 transmission. I would make sure torque converter bolts to flywheel and as well fits into trasmission before attempting to install in vehicle. It is a huge pain to make the swap half way through the install.

actually the CORRECT gap for these is .45 no wonder they told you to drive safe, must have known it would be running bad!!!

improve as in go quicker or higher speed? for a lower gear ratio to go better up hills go to a lower gear ratio like 4 to 1. For a faster highway speed and better fuel milage go to a higher ratio like 2.7 to 1. The gears in both axles, front and rear must be changed to improve the ratio.

The 1998 GMC signal flasher relay switch will be behind the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher relay switch will be on the left-hand side of the gas pedal.

You did not say what year it was. But you need to follow the top Radiator hose to the engine where it clamps to a housing and it will be under that housing.

If it is a 2000 or newer V8 then it is in the lower hose, just do the samething follow it.

After the catalytic converter (AKA downstream).

Behind the fuse pannel in the dash. Remove the 4 9/32" head screws hoding the fuse box to the dash. (you will have to remove the glove box door strap, 1 screw, to get to the bottom screws) The fuse box will pull out a few inches. You will see the signal flasher mounted to the dash right behind and slightly to the left behind the fuse box.

I have had this problem on my 1993 GMC Sierra. It was due to stess cracks in the solder joints on the motor controller board which is mounted on the firewall. Take the board out and resolder the joints with cracks. does this have an "intermittant" or "delay" position on the switch then low and high?

start by removing the dash trim panel from around the radio with a trim removal tool or flat head screw driver. themn remove the radio, sometimes has clips or bolt it differs by modle. un plug the old radio. go to best buy or any dealer that carys radios and radio parts and ask for the wireing harness for ur truck and the radio install kit. after purchesing these itemes get some butt conectors at any place that sells hardware or electrical itemes and strip all wires that need to be conected. most of the wireing harnesses hav ecoler coded wireing diagrams and the radio will come with the coler code for its wires. then make all conections and check the fit of the radio in the installation kit and the atach it in your dash the reinstall all of the trim that was removed. i do sujest that you turn the key on befro finalizing install and check that all speakers are working and that every thing works on the radio check with a CD and check the radio stations to make sure all of the conections were made. on some gmc trucks you have to by a antena adapter to hook up the antena it lenthens the cable so you can hook it up. ask the sales person if you truck needs one.

You need to look at things like the ignition switch, ignition and fuel relays, things that if worn or malfunctioning would interrupt the current to either circuit. I am leaning toward the ignition switch, after a while they get loose or worn and contact may be lost, but a faulty relay might heat up and switch off. That will give you a starting point and a second place to look. the problem will invariably be electrical though.

It is located on the back of the block, right below the intake manifold, on the right side of the motor (looking from the front). When I found it, I couldn't actually see it. The intake needs to be removed to be able to see the OPSU and replaced.

yes i does just keep the wiring from that same truck and it should be fine

I would not use this on a Heavy duty type of spring. This has a tendency to slip off the spring and does not have a long range of travel.
