There is something called "ice pick migraines" which feel very much like someone has literally jammed an ice pick through your head. They last fewer than 5 minutes (mine last for less than 30 seconds) but cause such blinding pain. It's very possible. Take some at-home tests (don't get the cheap ones if you don't have to!) or go to a free clinic and have them do a free pregnancy test to find out.

1) If you take them at the same time. Thyroid medications are meant to be taken alone, 30 minutes before you eat or digest anything else.

2) If aspirin (which is in Equate Extra Strength Headache relief) is used for even one week, the thyroid hormones they are looking for on tests (T3, T4 - both total and free, and TSH) will be lower. So, taking aspirin may not interfere with your thyroid medication, but it does interfere with how your thyroid is performing.

It should be noted that in some thyroid patients, specifically, those who have a normal thyroid except for low T3 or T4, taking thyroid hormones with acetaminophen can set you up for liver damage.

Just got over a 4-day bout with gastroenteritis, probably caused by contaminated food. You just described the hell I've been through. You didn't mention intestinal gurgling. When you have a headache, your body is generally trying to tell you that something is wrong. It may be that you need hydration, in that case just up your intake of fluids i.e. drink water OR it may be that you just need some fresh air, in that case try and take a little walk outside. If you sleep whilst having a headache, this may cause it to worsen especially if all you need to do is have some water. Also taking a headache tablet will just mask the pain not target the source.

Does your mom always have headache that prolonged more than 2wks? Does your mom always waking up in the morning that already have a headache? if so, i think she might have aneurysm that within certain period of time it might rapture. If this is the case, call emergency no. and send an ambulance to get her bp, then, have CT Scan. Hope she will be alright

I have also had a bad headache, not sure if it is sinus or migraine related but no fever. Fever indicates infection of some type and a headache for a week isn't normal, even for me who regularly gets headaches. It's better to just see a Doctor.

Physical trauma (ie; being punched, kicked, etc), a tension headache, or, worst case scenario, a stroke. Be aware in any changes to your muscle control. Seek medical attention immediately if that happens.
