What years is compatible with a 2 door 1994 Honda Accord in body parts?

The model ran from 1994-1997 but there are some differences that you need to pay attention to.

The doors, hood, bumpers, and front fenders should be interchangeable between all coupe models except the v6 models.

The v6 Accords had a larger engine bay so the hood and fenders and possibly the front bumper will not fit on 4cyl models.

Also, the tail lights were changed for 1996-97 models so the trunk is not compatible between 94-95 and 96-97.

Does the 2003 Honda Accord 4-cylinder have an interference engine?

Yes. Your engine DOES have an interference engine. I think all Hondas do (or at least all the ones I have looked up!). You can go to www.napaonline.com to search for this, or on any other vehicle, as you view the timing components parts. If it shows a timing belt instead of a timing chain, it will also list whether it is an interference engine, or a NON-interference engine.

How do you replace the head gasket on a Honda Accord EX?

To change the head gasket, you need to remove the valve cover, intake and exhaust manifolds, and engine head. This is not a Saturday mechanic's project.

You should have a reliable mechanic do this.

If you want to attempt this yourself, I would recommend that you purchase a CHILTON or HAYNES repair manual. It will do a good job of explaining how to work on it. They are available at many book stores and auto parts stores.

It is on because there is a problem with the air bag (SRS) system. It will be reset when the problem is repaired. Working on the SRS can be very hazardous and for that reason this is not a DIY repair. Take the vehicle to a professional for repair.

Why is a car overheating even after changing the water pump and the radiator?

Always should replace thermostat at same time; if this was not done, do so. Rust and gunk in the cooling system from a corroded radiator will often jam and damage the thermostat. Conversley, sometimes a corrding thermostat sets of the entire process by both stricking and by sending hicks of rust to the other cooling system components (radiator and water pump). After engine idles for a while (but prior to overheating) gently squeeze the large hose attached to the top of the radiator. Is it getting warm? If not, the thermostat is likely not working. The thermostat should click and open the route for the top radiator hose, when the temp gauge is no farther toward "H" than at or just below the halfway mark, or just above, on most vehicles. Once the thermostat opens up the route for the upper radiator hose, the temp gauge should fall quickly. If the thermostat wasn't replaced, appears to not be functioning, and is easily accessible and visible, tap it with a hammer (not hard enough to damage it)and see if it becomes unstuck. If your vehicle has an electric fan, make sure it is coming on after a few moments. If it isn't, check that its fuse is OK, that the wire connections are solid, then check that the fan relay is not burned out. A heat sensor sending unit which controls activation of the electric fan could also have failed. In some 60's vintage vehicles, one could often stop overheating by replacing the stock 4-bladed fan with a 5-bladed fan. If you have an automatic transmission that is routed through your cooling system, and you've tried everything possible to correct overheating, your tranny may be on its way out. The problems your tranny may be having having operating normally could be effecting the engine temp. I agree with the changeing of the thermostat , Here is one more sug your radiator cap is not maintaining proper pressure get it pressure tested IF YOU DIDN'T CHANGE THE RADIATOR CAP WHEN DOING ALL THAT OTHER STUFF, GO AHEAD AND CHANGE IT. IF THE OLD ONE IS BAD IT WON'T HOLD THE PROPER PRESSURE AND THE COOLANT CAN BOIL= OVERHEATING! patricklaw1957@yahoo.com Check the fan to see if it's running. If the engine heats up and the fan isn't going, the fan motor is shot. If you have tried everything else and you are still having overheating problems you might have a bad head gasket. I didn't see what type of vehicle you were working on. I had a 1988 Dodge Caravan. I replaced everything in the cooling system including putting an oversized radiator in. The problem turned out to be a bad head gasket. I never observed any oil in the radiator. If the thermostat was replaced and water pump and radiator as you say then there are only a couple things that it can COMMONLY be.It always seems to me that people like to take out the engine before replacing the spark plugs.Take theese words of advice(alot of people over analyze things)99 percent of the time it's the easy stuff!your problem is probably the radiator cap.If it is not holding the proper pressure it will overheat.cost is about 4.95. could be bad head gaskit

How do you change a cabin air filter on a 2003 Avalon?

You will see three Phillips head screws across the top and one on lower left, remove these, now on the lower right back in an indent you will see a 10mm bolt head, remove this bolt. There are several metal push-clips holding the glove box in place after the four screws and bolt are removed. Pull firmly from the top and rotate the bottom right flange out from behind the molding where the bolt was removed. There is a plastic foot shield that snaps to the bottom edge of the glove box. Pull it off the box. Gently pull glove box out and let hang down. If you want you can unplug the wire to the trunk opener cancelling switch by pushing the little tab while pulling out. You can now maneuver the filter holder out of its tray that is above where the glove box was. Grasp filter holder from both sides with fore fingers and pull it straight out. Remove filter from holder and install new filter the same way. Reinstall filter holder, Gently put glove box back in place, reinsert screws and bolt. Enjoy the fresh air.

How do you reprogram a 1998 Honda Accord transponder key to accept a new key?

You can't. If you need another copy of your key made you must have the dealer clone one for you. If you don't have a key to the car, you must pay for programming and key match. No way around it. Sorry. Usually 100 bucks programming if you need a new key (i.e. keys were stolen) and 30 bucks per key.

I heard that if you buy a transponder key, what you do is put the original in the ignition, and turn it to the "on" position. Leave it for a minute or 2, take it out, do the same with the new key, and the new key should be programmed. not 100% positive though.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 Honda Accord EX?

AnswerThe fuel filter is in the gas tank and not a quick change. like one on the outside

And FYI, the filter is rated for the life of the car and very expensive on labor to replace. Unless you have serious particles introduced to your tank, like your kid put crushed leaves in it, I wouldn't worry about it.
