How far can you drive after the fuel light comes on on a 2013 Honda Accord sport?

You can easily drive 30-50 miles. I do not recommend you let the fuel level get that low. The fuel pump is cooled by the gasoline in the tank. Once you let the tank get below 1/5 the fuel pump will not be cooled properly and this will shoten it's life.

What does maintenance required light mean on 2005 Honda Accord?

Yes, most definitely. You must always replace struts and shocks in pairs. Replace one front shock or strut then you must replace both. Same for the rear.

How do you replace the headlight assembly located on a 2005 Honda Accord Lx?

This just isn't something that you want to do. Remove engine shroud, grill, bumper on the side that you're working on, inner fender fasteners - then you can get to the 4 bolts that hold the headlight assembly in. Did it yesterday - won't do it again. 5 hours :-(

How do you replace the fuel filter on the 2003 Honda Accord?

You don't. It has a permanent fuel filter mounted in the tank. It is only replaced when the fuel pump is replaced.

How fast in mph is a light year?

Light years are a measure of distance, not speed; it is the distance light would travel in the time of one year. According to Eyewitness's Astronomy, a light year travels at up to 5.9 mph (per SECOND) and 9.5 kph (per SECOND) so multiply that by 60, times that by 60, multiply that by 24, and that by 365, and you should have a pretty close estimate, as to how far away a light year is.

Miles: 176,601,600 (5.9*60*60*24*365)

Kilometers: 299,592,000 (9.5*60*60*24*365)

(remember this is an approximation)

Hope this helped you!

How do you reset airbag light on 2003 Honda Accord?

Where is the exact location of a Honda Accord fuel pump?

Fuel tank. Access panel in trunk. Early 80's Accords have an electric in-line fuel pump mounted just forward of the left-rear wheel. The pump is mounted atop a plate that is probably rusted in place(if not through) by now. A rubber boot helps to protect the fittings. If you replace the pump, also replace the steel fuel line going to it, as these tend to rust through.

What if you use a different type of oil in your 2010 Honda Accord?

If you mean a different weight then you're not very wise. Use the exact weight oil that Honda recommends. If you are referring to the brand of oil, you do not have to use Honda oil. In fact Honda does not even make oil their oil is refined by another company. You can use any major brand oil of your choice, as long as it is the correct weight.

How do you replace the water pump on a 1986 Honda Accord LXI?

Well, my Chiltons Shop Manual isn't much help. Nice diagrams, but limited info on proceudre. Im thinking that if the alternator is a "remove from underneath" scenario, the pump is also.... Manual says disconnect negative battery cable, loosen bolts on water pump, loosen water pump belt & remove, after removing alternator belt. Then remove water pump pully, then pump itself. On later models you have to align the timing belt and remove it along with the valve cover assy. Doesnt look like that is the case with the 86 models...

ANYBODY wish to add to this?

How much oil does a 2002 Honda accord hold?

If you have an owner manual it should tell you. When changing the oil filter most vehicle of this type take at least 3.5 quarts. Some bigger gasoline engines might take up to 5 quarts. I would add 3 quarts than check the dip stick and add accordingly, before I started the engine. The service advisor at the service department of a Honda dealership should know exactly.

My husband says 3.8 qts.

How do you replace alternator 2005 Honda Accord ex?

It's not too bad: since Honda finally got tired of all the complaints from their mechanics about having to spend three hours doing a 20-minute job and put the alternator in front of the engine (it used to be behind it, and you could barely get it out), the job is:

1. Unhook the battery.

2. Disconnect all the wires going to the alternator. There should be two. You can't mix them up because one is a huge plug and the other is a ring lug.

3. Remove the top bolt and loosen the bottom one. Push the alternator toward the engine and remove the belt.

4. Remove the bottom bolt and lift out the alternator.

5. Take the old one and the belt to the auto parts store. Exchange the alternator and get a new belt. (I do it this way so I don't have to pay a core deposit. Alternately, buy the new parts before you start, and use "return the old alternator to the store" as a reason to go driving.)

6. Set the new alternator in place. Hook up the bolts and wires, but leave the bolts loose enough that you can adjust the alternator.

7. Put the belt on and set its tension by gently pulling back on the alternator. You want about 1/2" deflection in the middle of the longest run. Tighten both bolts good and tight.

8. Hook up the battery and you're done. Go for a ride!
