Check to see if you have a bad stop light fuse. ON my Honda a blown stop light fuse shuts down power to the transmission lock out circuit. Likely a simple fix? Good luck

There is a problem with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Have the SRS (Air Bags) repaired by a professional. They will reset the light after the repair. Due to the inherent danger of working on the SRS, this is NOT a DIY repair.

remove tire, remove upper bolt from caliper, secure caliper to avoid lines to get kinked, remove very carefully old pads, to avoid damaged the sensor wire, with a C clamp compress the caliper and install new pad, now you can put the caliper back in the old position, screw the bolt, put the tire back on, and that is all.

I changed the ATF on my 2004 Odyssey without much labor. Fortunately, I have a lift in my garage. The drain plug is a 3/8" drive socket, so no special tool needed for that. The plug was magnetised and had some filings on it, probably the first time it was changed (68,000 miles on car). Once drained, replace plug, no filter to deal with (at least that was what the dealer told me).....The dipstick hole is quite small, unlike the big filler tubes on the older transmissions, and quite unaccessable, even if you did pass a thin tube down with a funnel, the dealer said that was not a good way to add or replace fluid since it may introduce air into the trans. Down behind the dipstick where the brake lines converge is an 18mm hex bolt, up close it has a stamp right on it "ATF" (good clue) You need a long extension with a universal joint socket and remove that plug. There is a thick washer under it. I used a regular transmission type funnel which I added a length of clear plastic tubing (left over from a medical chest tube) and connected it to the funnel with a Christmas tree adapter ( I love creating stuff like this). Again, the dealer sold me 3 qts. of Honda(matic) ATF, the info with the vehicle says it will take 3.5 qts., I added the fluid, ran the motor and checked the stick, it was barely up to the first dot (of 2), I went back to the dealer and got another qt., I added 1/2 qt., it barely moved the marking on the stick. You don't want to overfill the trans either. Don't forget to reinstall the plug and washer!

It is very easy. You do not even have to take everything out of the glove compartment. From the inside, disconnect the strap on the left side. You will have to pull/slide off the cap first, then you can disconnect the strap. Close the glove compartment, and from underneath, take out the two screws that hold the hinges in place. Then open the glove compartment, being careful not to spill the contents. The filter is directly in front of you. There are two squeeze tabs that hold it in place, push together, slide out the tray and replace the filter. 10 minutes tops, less next time.

Get something like this. I don't have an ipod, but I bought one, hooked up a ipod to bluetooth adapter and it works great! I am pretty confident that it will work with your ipod (as it is made for it). It took about an hour to install (you have to be only a little mechanically inclined because you have to pop the front dash cover off and unscrew 3 screws on the radio to install).

There is no fuse. The lid is cable operated. Something got bent or broken with the latch mechanism.

2000 and onward Honda Odeyssey model has a problem of instrument panel light bulbs went bad early. To change them are not easy, would anyone can provide some solutions? Doug Answers: I am not very machancically inclined, but www.odyclub.com has great photos and step by step instructions, including a part number you can buy at Radio Shack. I bought the replacement bulbs at the dealer for about $5 for the clock and odometer together. Here are the steps, summarized. Go to www.odyclub.com to see the photos and details. It starts by saying disconnect the battery, then: 1. Grab the dash cover that surrounds the radio and air conditioner controls. Grab it on the left end, near the gear shift. Lift/pry it off. 2. Lift off the cover to the left of the steering column, the small one that surrounds the door controls. Lift from it's right side. 3. Remove the 6 screws that hold the top cover on. This cover surrounds the clock and instrument cluster, and contains the air vents. 4. Disconnect the wires from the back. 5. Twist off the light, insert the new one. If you buy the Radioshack bulbs, you have to wrap the leads back on to the base, and trim the excess wire. To get to the odometer light, there are two screws that hold the top of the instrument cluster to the underside of the top of the dash. Remove them, and pull the cluster out. You will see all the light bulb bases, twist out the old, and twist in the new. Button it all back up by reversing the order of removal. I did this whole thing in less than 30 minutes. The dealer wanted $120 to replace the two bulbs. I figured I saved $115, that's about $4/minute.
