On the passenger side near the battery, directly under the lower radiator hose, very low down, yellowish handle.

All of the drive lights (and most of the other dash lights) are attached to sensors related to correlated vehicle parts (ie the oil light for oil pressure, gas light for low fuel levels, etc.). When the drive lights start to blink that means one of 2 things, either your transmission is failing or the sensor attached to the transmission is failing. I hope for your case it is the latter. Suspect a bad four wheel drive module, or wheel actuator

I just changed one today.

First, open the rear door and find the 2 panel screw covers along the edge of the light fixture.(The door actually covers them when it is closed.) Pop those open using a flat head screwdriver or something similar. Remove those two screws(they are Phillips heads) and then pull the whole light toward the rear of the vehicle. You will need to pull very hard to get them off since there is a clip on the side holding it to the rear fender. Once the whole fixture is pulled away from the fender,(be carefull not to pull so hard you pull all the wiring out in the process) remove the wiring clip by pinching it and pulling it out. Now find the bulb that is out by turning the plastic insert counter-clockwise and twisting them off. Pull the bulb directly out of the unit and push in the new one. Re-insert the bulb fixture and turn clockwise. (If you notice the plastic fixture is a triangular shape and will go in easier if you line it up correctly.) Replace the wiring clip and position the light to push it forward into the fender. Push snug toward the front of the vehicle. Now put the screws in and push the screw covers back into place.

1. Start by removing the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat.

There are 2 screws underneath. The screw on the right is blocked by the lower plastic fuse cover. Twist the plastic screw off to remove the cover. then you can remove the right glove compartment screw.

2. The blower resistor is towards the back of the heater unit as you look underneath (rear and a bit left). It has 3 screws...use an angle screwdrivver.

It has a 4 prong power supply. Unplug it only after you have unscrewed the 3

screws.

3. I was only able to locate the blower resistor after searching for the part on the internet to see what it looked like. The mfg. # is 79330-S84-A41...look it up on google or ebay. the grey side is towards the top so you will only see the black side underneath. (I have a Honda Odyssey 2004 EX model)

I bought the part at the Honda parts dept. for $63. The svc dept. quoted me $141 to install it specifically and more to do an entire AC/heater diagnosis...and that's for the labor only.

AC fixed....check

Oil Change...check

tires inflated...check

I'm pooped so I will wait until Sunday to flush the 7 year old radiator.

I like saving $$ I think I'm gonna go to Amazon.com a splurge a little.

How do you replace the side sliding door rollers on a 2000 Honda Oydessy van?

It depends on what type of helicopter.

On the V6 you MUST change the belt at 105,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first. The V6 is an interference engine and serious engine damage will occur if the belt breaks. On the 4 cylinder there is no belt as the cam is driven by a chain. No regular scheduled maintenance is required on the 4 cylinder.

According to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera )

The 3.5 litre V6 engine in a 2000 Honda Odyssey is an INTERFERENCE ENGINE

The recommended timing belt replacement is at ( 105,000 miles - normal ,

60,000 miles severe )

* If the timing belt breaks you will have engine damage

The air filter on a Honda Odyssey is located next to the air intake. It filters fresh air which comes in from the front of the engine compartment.

IR headphones are not vehicle or model specific - so you can mix and match IR headphones from most brands. The biggest difference is quality. Cars get hot - very hot, and cold - very cold. Many IR headphones just are not built for these temperature extremes. Throw in a few variables like dogs chewing on them, and kids sitting on them, and you need something pretty rugged if it's going to survive. Getting headphones from a dealership isn't cheap- but they are high quality. You can also get the same headphones off of Ebay or at websites like http://www.audiovideo2go.com (That's where I got my Acura headphones, and they work perfectly). If you know the part number for your headphone, there are lots of Honda parts websites that you can use, too.

You can go to any auto parts store and get a replacement oil plug for a couple of bucks. They should be replaced periodically anyway. Good Luck

It doesn't look overwhelmingly difficult, looking at the Odyssey 2000 service manual. I happened upon this, since I'm thinking of taking it apart myself... mine's making an "interference" noise, more so at higher speed. Anyhow, it looks like all you have to do is to lie underneath, remove about 6 screws, plus the power connectors, and it should more or less drop out. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE SRS SYSTEM, which lies high above the unit. It's not necessary to take out the whole blower unit if you're only touching the blower motor, or the motor that controls airflow direction. If you buy the motor ($80, ebay, aftermarket), it may not come with the cylindrical fan part, but you don't sound as if you need this. Good luck!

Most automatic transmissions do not have a filler plug or cap. The transmission fluid is added by using a long-neck funnel, which is placed in the tube the dipstick for the transmission sits in. Be sure to test the level while the engine is running, with the transmission in either park or neutral. Be very careful not to over fill the transmission, and make sure that you have the right kind of transmission fluid for your vehicle.

Most manuals will tell you 105,000 miles. PepBoys told me to change it before that. They quoted me at $800 including the water pump. Most places will change the water pump at the same time as preventative maintenance as it is easy to do with the timing belt off. Edmunds told me it would cost around $500. I have found it will cost me somewhere between $500-$800.

I own a 1997 CRV and get 27-28 mpg around town and 31-32 mpg on a trip.

To get this mileage when out of town I close the side mirrors and drive gently (95-105 kph max) as it is not the most powerful of cars.

One of the reasons I got this car is because it has better mpg than comparable brands of this size.

It is also excellent on skifield roads.

If it is the same as the Accord, which information I'm discovering claims it is, then it is in the front of the car. It is under the dash on the passenger side, close to the hood of the car.

It is a VERY long poem thought to be written by Homer about a king named Odysseus after the Trojan war. It is a sequal to the Illiad. Great book! But you must have an appreciation for 500 page poems :)
