Seriously though, they will increase the effects of one another. In other words, you will get messed up really quickly, so be very careful. Also, the APAP that is mixed with the hydrocodone can damage your liver even more than it normally does when taken with alcohol or other drugs.

Hydrocodone has a half-life of about 4 hours, and acetaminophen of about 3 hours. Drugs are normally considered to be completely gone from the body, in any practical sense (such as for concerns about drug interactions) after 5 half-lives, which would be 20 hours in this case. However, if you are concerned about safety in operating equipment or driving, don't rely on the numbers alone--do a reality check of your alertness.

This is normal, however, keep in mind that Lortab is a scheduled substance and is an addictive medication, physically and mentally. Caution should be used when taking this medication. All Controlled Substances (narcotics, barbiturates and combination drugs/derivatives) are listed under 5 Schedules, each one being a list of narcotics/compound drugs and barbiturates based on their content and abuse potential. Schedule 3 - Hydrocodone (Vicodin) and combinations, Butalbital, Codeine analgesics (low amount of Codeine with another drug), etc. Can be refilled and called in.

Schedule 4 - Most of the minor pain stuff - Darvon, Analgesic combo's, etc. Also includes stuff like Ambien.

Schedule 5 - Codeine and Opium based oral preparations (syrups), similar type drugs.

Note: Most bizarrely, methamphetamine is considered to have "medicinal value" (the military uses it) so it is a schedule 2 rather than schedule 1, yet marijuana is considered schedule 1 even though it can be prescribed by a doctor and there is a pure pill form manufactured by pharmaceutical companies that can also be prescribed.

Goats do not tolerate pain very well, and when my goat had bladder stones that needed to be removed by operating (cutting his stomach open with an 8 inch incision, then cutting the bladder open), he was only given 325mg of Tylenol 2-3X/day for a week. This seemed to ease his pain sufficiently, as he was up and around the following morning and continued to do well post-surgery.

Please don't be angry with me for saying this, but...if you want to give your goat hydrocodone just to see what would happen, please don't. It would be very sad if you did, and the goat died from it. If your goat has pain, have a vet take a look. My vet will give me advice over the phone - maybe that would work for you too.

There are several different effects of hydrocodone. Some of these side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, anxiety, itching, and a rash.

As long as you have a prescription, you can take any drug anywhere. I usually have my doctor write a note stating that I have a medical condition which requires the use of whatever drug I am bringing. I've never had to use it, and I've never had a problem. And the drugs I was bringing were WAY stronger than Vicodin, so I don't think you'll have a problem.
