Why is open adoption better for the child?

I'm considering adoption for my child because i am not financially responsible an in college! plus the father of this child is not talking to me an is back with his ex girlfriend! so i was put in a spot where i had no choice but to give my child to more responsible, an loving hands, i chose to have a open adoption, the child has a right to know who i am an has a right to know who its father is as well! it helps reassure that the child has a background for medical an ethnical questions! it also helps the child understand the type of family it has . An that the selfless act i pursued by giving an infertile couple a baby the longed for an a better life for my child! yet i do not plan to interviene many times in the child's life i wish to let the child grow an live by the rules an teachings an values of its adoptive parents , an to let the child know that i am still out there if he/or she ever needs me for any reason in his/or her lifetime!

I have adopted children and I think open adoption is better for the child because they don't have to go through all of the emotional trauma that children in closed adoptions have to go through. If they have a question about the biological family, they can call or write and ask. In our situation, they also know they weren't stolen or something because the birth mom and I have both told them that this was the best thing for them. They also know they weren't "given away" because they were bad or unloved. I guess, in a nutshell, a child can never have too many people who love them.

In Oklahoma can an adopted seventeen year old move out if both biological parents are deceased?

The status of the biological parents does not matter. Under the law, the adopted parents are in charge. If they aren't an adult, they live where they are told.

How old are they really?

Sorry.... What? How old are who/what? Please be more specific with your question.

How old can one be and still be able to adopt a child in California?

no. 18 is when you are an adult. If you really care about someone that is over the age of 18, you can help them financially or be there for them. I don't know if it's different for someone who is mentally challenged.

How do you get the breeds you downloaded for petz 5 to work so that you can adopt the at the adoption center?

Breedz should be downloaded in a zipped (compressed) folder format. That's how all mine were. You can save this file anywhere you choose, as long as you know where it is and it isn't interfering with any of the game folders. For instance, I have all my downloads saved in a folder I keep on the desktop.

If you don't have winzip, you can right click the file and say 'extract all'. Winzip allows you to double click and open the zipped file like any other. inside the downloaded folder, there is a file that will end in .dog or .cat. Usually the name of the breed precedes the file extension.

When you've found this, you have to go to your hard drive, and follow the destination path of the game. For instance, you'd click on C: drive, Program Files, Ubi Soft (or PF Magic, for earlier versions) then Catz or Dogz. In here there should be a number of folders - Adopted Petz, PetzPix, Skinz, Resource etc. Click Resource and within that there should be folders like - Area, Clothez, Toys, Songz... There should also be one that is named Catz or Dogz, maybe both, depending on the game you have.

If you are downloading a Catz breed, click on the Catz folder, and vice versa. Copy and paste the .cat or .dog file you downloaded in a zip folder - not the whole folder, just the specific pet file - and open the game.

The breed you downloaded should now appear in the adoption centre.

The same steps should be taken to put new clothez, toyz or skinz into the game, just copy and paste the opened, downloaded file into the right folder in the game's destination folder.

Hope this wasn't too hard to follow! =)

short term risk:There are limited tool for linking an intranet server to database or other back end mainframe based application.

less back-end integration:with intranet, firms have to set up and maintain separate application such as email and web server.

Disadvantages of intranet?

1>.One disadvantage of having an intranet is the cost. There is a very high financial cost incurred by the company when initially implementing the intranet. The company has to pay for the equipment, the software, and facilities that is needed to house an intranet system. Even though there is a high cost to implement, there are lots of advantages after the implementation

Can you adopt a runaway 17 year old?

You can, BUT they either have to be wards of the state or their parents/legal gaurdians sign over parental rights to you.

If not, you could be charged with kidnapping or harboring a runaway. If the parents don't care the child is missing, they will most likely sign away their rights.

What is the opposite of biological parents?

Apparently, from what I have investigated, it appears to be adoptive parent, regardless if there has been any formal paperwork filled out.

Can you adopt Im from Ireland and I would love to give to a child the best that I can?

Contact a socialworker where you live and take the home study first and then you can stand in line for adoption. I think since Ireland is very small you should look abroad for adoption though because there is a risk you will never get a child otherwise. You can also adopt from foster care.

One parent willnt agre to let you be adopted?

Those who have parental rights have to agree to adoption so if both your parents have that and only one is willing it will not happen.

How can someone put himself up for adoption if he is miserable with the family he is a part of right now?

The best thing you can do is petition the court for emancipation so you can be free to do what you want. You may as well start your working career so that you can work the rest of your life. You may have parents that support you now. Why do you want any free time, when you could be working? I feel your pain, but wait until you are 18, then you can find your birth parents!! Consider the pain that you will cause the parents and family that loves you, before you think of leaving them. This is only thinking of yourself.

Disadvantages of ifrs in developing countries?

Implementing IFRS in developing countries can pose several challenges, such as the high costs associated with training staff and updating systems to comply with international standards. Additionally, the lack of local expertise and resources may hinder effective adoption and lead to inconsistent application of the standards. Furthermore, the complexity of IFRS might not align with the simpler financial reporting needs of smaller businesses, potentially creating barriers to entry for them in the formal economy. Lastly, there may be resistance from stakeholders accustomed to local accounting practices, which can complicate the transition process.
