Is burping and farting soon after meals signs of any illnesses?

No but asking this question may be a sign of mental illness. Nah just kidding. Burping and farting is air/gas escaping from an otherwise air tight system. I am no doctor, but from what i know the only way that air/gas can get into your body is if you put it there.

If you are burping or farting extremely soon after a meal, say like 5-10 minutes, which is before food has really had time to digest, it is very likely that you are eating too fast and air is going down with your food. This air can either come right back up or else go all the way through your system.

Also remember that food begins digestion as soon as you swallow it. If you start eating and are eating for 20-30 minutes, then "right after" you finish your food you have already almost completely digested the first few bites of your meal, and any gases created by digestion will start escaping.

Bolus is the food that is mashed up in your mouth. After it is digested in the stomach, the food is called chyme.

Bolus is more alkaline than chyme because it is exposed to alkaline saliva. Teeth and saliva turn food into bolus. It is then swallowed and passes through the esophagus into the stomach.

Chyme has a higher acidity content than bolus because it was exposed to hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Chyme enters the small intestine after digestion in the stomach.
