How do you put four over five as a fraction on the keyboard?

In many word processors, such as Microsoft Word, the program will automatically turn it into a fraction just by typing with a slash (/) and no spaces: 4/5. If you need to type on something other than a word processor, you can:

  • Write the fraction in after printing(this is what my algebra teacher encourages, actually)
  • Use multiple lines to type the fraction: 4
  • _
  • 5
  • Type the fraction using a slash: 4/5

Can your IQ change over time?

Yes, depending on many factors including continued learning, and use/excercise of the thought processes.

Alternate Answers:

Yes.

By removing pain and unconsciousness from the mind. (Estimate: 1 IQ point increase per hour)

By removing times one decided not to know things or that others would not know things (Estimate: 5 points increase per hour)

By going past words one does not understand. Decreases IQ

By accepting 'false information' that one can not think with or apply. Decreases IQ. 'false' would include things that a person believes to true but is in fact; incorrect, deceptive, contrary to fact or truth, contrary to what exists, contrary to what was done, wrong time, etc. By resolving 'false information' and learning true information one can increase IQ.

Learning any skill. (Increasing any ability, increases ALL abilities.)

Does your IQ increase when you get older?

According to research, IQ is relative. Without going into a dissertation, there are a couple of different ways to discern IQ. There are timed and untimed tests. Each way has positive and negative reflexions on a result. And one can be tested individually or in a group. . . individual tests may be power tests and administered first hand by a third party. These scores may be more truly reflective of cognitive abilities. Once one reaches the age of 16, he is determined to be mature. And most importantly, a score on an IQ test falls within a range. . .ususally ten points up or down. . . from the final score rendered on any given test. So if one scores 123 on the Otis, then repeated testing attempts should fall with 113-133. There are always mitigating circumstances to any analysis of a test score. But essentially, IQ never changes beyond age 16, supposedly!
