Depending upon the year, there will be zerk fittings located at several points of movement on the undercarriage. Buy a grease gun and get some marine grade grease and push the fitting over the zerk and pump it full of grease until if you can see the seals bulge and start to leak out. Wipe off the excess and call it good. You should make a point to grease these items every 10,000 miles or so depending upon use. There also zerks located at the knuckles on the front axle and at the universal joints for each driveshaft.

AnswerThe YJ soft top does collapse. However, this was before the the quick disconnects existed. So, you have to unzip both side windows and unclip the rear window and corner fabric. Fold all of these down flat. This will release tension on the front. Then, the side rails (the ones above the doors) need to be released. This could be as easy as removing a cotter pin or as difficult as undoing bolts - depending on the style of hardware. Next, unclip the front bow above the windscreen and fold the top down from the back in an accordion fashion. The only thing required to keep the top rails secured is a velcro (excuse me: hook and loop) strap on either side. Though, those soft-top boots look quite good.Does anyone make a white hard top for the Jeep Wrangler If so whom?

I am unaware that it, a 2004, would fit a 2006 wrangler. In other words I do not think they are interchangeable.
The hardtop are interchangable for 1997 to 2006, but the electric connection on the back for the rear wiper and rear window defrost is different. The plug is the same from 1997 -2002 and 2003-2006. Jeep does sell a (pigtail) or adapter to make it work. The outside is the same with a few minor changes. There is no side vents on factory tops from 2003-2006 and the latch handles that connect to the windshield frame are slightly smaller on factory tops from 2003-2006. Hope this helps.
