You will need to remove the tail light covers in the cargo compartment. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the tail light assembly retaining bolts.

I dont think a 2006 has a tpms

It could also be in the engine compartment behind the power steering pump.

its usually under the engine at the very bottom and you need a 17mm to open it

It is bolted to the block beside the crankshaft pulley,it reads the crank pulley.

Near the bottom of the coolant reservoir ( overflow tank)

Hi there. I'm a Kia Tech and I've had this problem come up many times the screws that hold the lock/unlock mechanism on the side is jamming against the body. The way to get it open is to get someone to hold the handle up and kick the door open from the inside THAT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DOOR TRIM KEEP IN MIND. Or another way is to manualy lift the rod which is located inside the door having the window down and pulling hard. The door will open.

Once you have the door open you will notice the srews are screwed in half way that's the problem. You will also notice the paint is scratched from the screws being unsrewed get some thread lock liquid put it on the tread and screw the screw back in and that's it. I hope I have helped you.

which door, most of the time you remove the door panel screws and then pull hard you will not brake it if you pull and look you can see plastic keepers attaching the door panel they will pull out but feel like you will brake something, then remove clear plastic car full not to tare then use a flash light you will see the bolts or clips on the out side door handle, or look inside and see door latch remove screws from side of the door with it open. hope this helps work on kia for 4 years.

it tells you that either the battery, or alternater is not putting out the proper voltage to care for vehicle needs. check the alt, if ok. check the battery and cables. if engine is off there should be at least 12.6 at the battery, when running if alt, is ok. there will be 13.5 to 14.5. take negative battery cable off while running. if it stays running the alt, is good. if the engine dies its bad. if the alt, proves to be good and you are still having problems, then check for a bad battery.

First a person removes the week, and the brake shoe. Next , remove the brake pad and replace it with a new one. Then put the brake shoe back in place, and do the same for the wheel.

I have a 2000 kia spectra also and went to replace the CV axel and now having major issues with tranny. The spider gear in which the cv goes through has drop into the trans and cv wont install. I dont understand how the gear just fell into the trans, but it did and Cv wont go in and I am stuck with pulling trans and taking it apart. Its a automatic. Any advise would be great.

first thing first remove the negative battery cable then you will have to remove your tb start by removing the vacume lines then the four bolt holding your tb on this is a good chance to inspect your lines and clean your tb it's worth it but you will have 2 sensors one is your tps sensor the other is a air temp sensor the tps is the one located on the butterfly of your tb it's easy and you will know what im talkin about but remove it replace it and then reinstall all your stuff make sure to reset the tps sensor by removing the back up fuse for 1 min in your fuse box under the hood

To remove the dash you simply use a thin tool and insert it between the dash where the stereo is mounted and the rest of the dash. this will take off the entire section with the AC vents, the AC controls, the clock and the stereo. After you get a portion of it off, gently pull the rest of the dash off. The dash is held to the rest of the dash by spring loaded clips, so if you are careful you won't break anything.

First you have to raise the vehicle and remove the wheel from the right front side,next remove the plastic splash shield and from there you will see the tensioner pulley and adjuster bolt (14mm nut). YToun loosen the nut first and then you turn the adjuster bolt counter clockwise until the desired distance is reached to remove the belt. I believe you can handle it from there?

If the parking brake uses this caliper then it is threaded a special tool (not expensive available at Sear or auto parts) is required to twist it back into the caliper body they have parking brake shoesd wich are cable drive,,,,,,, the caliper is stationary use a screw driver

Depends on how strong your squirrel is. Small one is about 2:1 ratio. Large one has around 4:1 compression. About the same as a nitro rc car...Buy a 2012 mustang. 421 horsepower.

Was it moving and they pressed the brake pedal to STILL the car? How do you KNOW it won't start?

Mostly Kia spectra 2002 has a drum brakes in rear and Disc brakes in front.

Inside the engine compartment, unscrew the plasic cap over the back of the headlight, then unclip the bulb. After you pull out the bulb the plug just pulls from the bulb.

Underneath the driver side dashboard, near the center console, is a plastic control knob with a metal wire/bar connector that is attached to the main directional control knob (defrost, vent, floor vent select knob) on the center console. The metal wire/bar will sometimes pop off the plastic control knob, so when you turn the main control you're not actually re-directing the forced air to the selected vents. Re-attached the metal wire/bar to the plastic control knob and should fix the problem.
