No, in fact, it is not near as accurate. it is comparable to a DOT-non laboratory drug test. It is decently accurate within a few days, but cannot detect THC in the system past its small window. If you're in a tight squeeze and only have a couple days before your parents pop one on you drink lots of sport drink (i.e. Powerade, Gatorade, Vitamin Water). Also sweat (ex: swimming, running, even laying out in the sun... if you have access to a steam shower that is ideal). They are quite easy to cheat and produce false negatives.

You could try poppywash, you get a whole load of poppy seeds (like really a lot) and boil them down into water for ages until it's quite concentrated, then drain it and drink it like tea. If I see that your creatinine level is too low, I can well suspect you've put water in your urine.
