In my 2000 Lincoln LS the fuse box is in the trunk next to the battery and the spare tire. You need to pull the floor cover and the fuse box is a black box behind the battery.

Premium fuel eliminates pinging in high compression engines, and delivers the power of those explosions more evenly.
High compression engines are not as popular today, since engineers have been able to deliver more power and efficiency with a lower compression engine.
Using premium fuel in a modern, low compression engine will only burn a little slower and not damage the engine at all.
It's just a waste of money to use premium in a low compression engine.

Make sure that the interior light intensity knob didn't go all the way up because there is a point where it goes from "high" to the "on" position. You can feel it as you raise the intensity when it clicks over to on. This will keep your interior lights on.

your tranny experienced an error... you can get the code with regular OBD tool... i bet for broken spring in the valve body, especially if you get errors for bad solenoid or missing gears in straight sequence (e.g. 3-4-5)... $800 fix...

On my 95 Lincoln town car it's behind the driver side door panel. Dons sweat it's olny 3 screws. Open the door all the way and you will find one next to the top door hinge and the other two are on both sides of the handle. When you have it off yow will see a big black box with stickers on it just look for keyless entry code. put it in once and it unlocks your doors and twice opens your trunk.

A Do It Yourself method of getting fluids in is to use a (very) clean grease gun. Just connect a plastic tube to the end of the grease gun and connect it to the valve on the transmission and pump it in. I own an '04 LS V8 and was recommended this by a mechanic and can attest that it works.

i just had my Lincoln ls v8 fixed that had the problem where when it got cold it took forever to start it and you had to pump the crap out of it. it was a fuel relay in the front fuse case. something real simple. my mechanic hit it right on.
