LH side or RH side take the plastic shield or inner fender(mud gard) that is below the fender then take the signal lamp off ,after that start taking the nuts that holds the bumper cover and fender close to the tire it could be an 8 or 10 ml socket ,open the door and you'll see 2 more fender bolts take those off also ,under the car where the fender ends it has two more bolts take theme off then on the upper seccion of the fender it has more screws. good luck!
Can you burn regular in the 93 Mark VIII without pinging?
Open and read your owner's manual to find this information. Use only the octane rating stated there. If it requires premium, do not use regular. Pinging and engine damage can occur. It says "Premium Fuel Recommended", so while you can use regular, you can expect less power and worse fuel consumption than if you used premium. The difference you find in filling up the tank is usually offset by the worse fuel mileage, so you don't end up saving any money. The Mark VIII has a pretty sophisticated engine management system, and it's knock sensors should prevent any detonation. You can get away with using regular (87 octane) fuel, but you will lose gas mileage because the system will add more fuel to each combustion cycle in an attempt to offset the difference in octane rating. In addition, the knock sensors will only tell the engine computer to adjust fuel timing to avoid detonation after they detect that detonation has already occurred (damage may already have been done). If you are going to insist on running regular in your Mark VIII, you would be wise to not floor it.
If you want to use regular gas without the negative consequences, look into purchasing and installing chip with a tune customized for running regular gas. -JMiles_T Answer #4 I see no problem running 87 octane in either one of my two 1994 Mark VIII vehicles. Both get between 20 & 22 MPG combination in town and some HWY and both get 30 MPG HWY no pinging no loss of power. They both have over 140,000 miles, One Hundred & Forty Thousand Miles on them. Neither one uses any oil between oil changes and they are changed at 3,000 mile intervals. The bigger problem I see in loss of performance and mileage is when my local station snuck in 10% alcohol on me. Mileage dropped immediately 4 miles per gallon. I changed stations with a sign stating 100% Gas No Alcohol mileage came right back up. If you run 87 Octane fuel in your Mark VIII and it pings, you have other issues. Find a repair shop that has a fuel system cleaner (Machine ) called MotorVac. & have your fuel system & injectors cleaned. Also there is an Octane switch on the Mark VIII's it's under / around the driver side strut tower cover. It looks like the old spout connector in fact it's interchangeable mine is still in place but it can be removed and that will drop the timing 4 degrees. Look close cause there will be two ( shorting ) bars / Switches ~ ~ one is the spout the other is the Octane switch / shorting bar. I didn't need to remove mine it was unnecessary. I'm just letting you know that it is there if you feel the need. I've been making my living working on vehicles for 42 years ASE Certified Master Tech W/L1 Advanced Diagnostics. The 94 intake hits the firewall so as is the engine will not fit. However the intake from 97-98 Mark VIIIs are different and will fit in a mustang engine bay. All you have to do is swap a 97 or 98 Mark VIII intake onto your 94 long block and it will fit. Now there is one other problem and that is that the Mark VIII engine is a modular engine so you will need a front k-member from a 96-04 mustang so that the motor mounts on the k-member line up with the ones on the engine. Any k-member from a 96-04 mustang will work even if it is from a v6 mustang.

This is simple on all DIS (or coil pack) Fords. On both coil packs the stickers have circles with numbers on them. This refers to the engines cylinders and their firing order. Starting with the cylinder on the passangers side. So passangers side front to back is Cylinders 1 2 3 4 Drivers side cylinders front to back are numbers 5 6 7 8 now on the coil packs the numbers next to the posts are supposed to go to that cylinder. Cant mess it up.

First you take out the driveshaft, then take out the starter "make sure to unhook the negitve battery cable" then take out the exshaust from the manifolds back. "i found it easy to take this out in 1 piece" Then unhook the shift linkage and electical plugs. use a tranny jack or floor jack with a wood block to slightly take some weight off the tranny, then take out the crossmember. then take off the tourque converter inspection plate. then tale off the four tourque converter bolts. then take out the six engine to tranny bolts and pull her out. On my 93 I had to remove the gas tank. But it wasn't bad, just four bolts lower it down and undo the filler tubes and fuel supply but be carful not to brake the clips on them. And also, there's a u shaped bar and shroud that goes bellow the drive shaft, it goes one way so make sure you put it on right or it while rub.

If you are referring to the lamp that lights up when you open the doors and is located over your head. You carefully remove the plastic cover being sure not to snap anything. Inside will be either what looks like a bulb or a fuse and you take that out, carefully too. You take it with you too the autoparts and get replacements. Reinsert the same way you took them out and gently snap on the cover. If it still doesnt work then that can be a fuse located in the fuse box. Now sometimes people refer to the headlights as head lamp and in that you cannot replace the bulb you have to buy the whole lamp from either a autoparts or dealer. With this you lift the hood and look behind the lamp. It should be inserted into what looks like a plug. You disconnect the two gently and be sure to not disconnect by the wires, hold them by the connection pieces. You may want to disconnect the battery before doing this too.
