Normally this shouldn't happen. What you can do is right-click on your iPhone when it appears in the left side of the iTunes interface, and click restore from backup. iTunes automatically takes backup of your iPhone before synching it, so it should turn out the way it was before you synched. But like I said, it shouldn't delete your apps when you synch with iTunes.

The Photofiltre software is only available for the Windows operating system and so will not work with Mac OS X on a Mac. Depending upon what you wish to achieve there are numerous alternative applications/plug ins available for the Mac.

If you have a windows computer you can still download itunes for free. I downloaded itunes on my hp a week ago for free. Just go to the itunes website and you should see an icon on the side that says free download.
