What i think is that the differences of computers back then is that they were much smaller and don't have all the keys we have now. Also we did not have lots of websites and things that would be useful like we do now.

Click on the iTunes Store link in the left hand pane in iTunes (Unless access to the store has been blocked with Parental Controls). Click on the Music tab at the top, select the required music, pay for it and download to your computer.
