What theory proposed that a country can become rich and powerful by becoming self-sufficient?

Autarky means exactly that. It can aslo be spelt "Autarchy". It was popularized by Mussolini, but I don't know if he came up with the term. Fascists and other totalitarians (Marxists, democrats, unions) would take popular sentiments and movements (like socialism, or anarchy) and routinely twist them into "double-think" to ensure slavery.

Isolationism is also a very similar, more american, term for that theory. (A theory that we would be better for practicing, IMHO)

What animals are found in the Mediterranean sea by Tunisia?

hi just replying to your question, i have been earlier on this year and went on a boat trip, and we where planning on going on a snorkeling trip, but once we got out to sea, the guide suggested wedidn'tgo, because of the high risk of sharks mating in the area, (quitebroody). we where also warned aboutvenomoussea snakes which occasionally come into the swimming areas nearer the land. there are a number ofcolorfulfish which are attracted by the warm waters, and if going further out can find sea horses in the reefs.

hope this helps to answer your question!

What is the second largest country in Africa and borders on the Mediterranean Sea?

If this question were asked before 2011, it would be answerable. At that time, Sudan was the largest country in Africa, making ALGERIA the second largest country in Africa and since Algeria is on the Mediterranean Sea, it would satisfy both conditions.

In 2011, Sudan broke into Sudan and South Sudan. This meant that Algeria became the largest country in Africa and the second-largest became the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is nowhere near the Mediterranean. As a result, currently, there is no country that is both (1) the second-largest country in Africa AND (2) a country on the Mediterranean Sea.
