Remove the upper and lower intake manifolds and all other parts attached to them and the knock sensor is right there on top of the engine between the heads. Sound simple? It isn't. But, it can be done using basic tools (metric) in your garage. Get a repair manual.

tps is back of throttle body look where your throttle cables hook up in the front look on the back side of that it has two harnesses that plug in

power steering pump is low in fluids or the pump itself is bad. replace power steering pump if fluids checks out ok. makes sure not to over fill reservoir

On the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu the fuel level sensor is a separate part. I know this because I have to buy one because ours broke around 20,000 miles. We are at 72,000 miles now and just investigated into it. To buy it from Chevy it's about an $193.00 part and that's from a Chevy dealer. I have seen them other places online but I am skeptical of purchasing from a place I don't know. It takes about 3 hours labor to install as well. Hope this helps :)

Can be a defective temperature sending unit. If you just chance the coolant can be air trapped in the cooling system. You would need to bleed all air from the system. Can also be a defective gauge, but highly unlikely.

the knock sensor monitors preignition,spark knock and sends signal to pcm,pcm responds by adjusting ignition timing and fuel timing until knock is gone.

AC system needs to be recharged. Get a can of R-134a and a hose. (EZ-Chill sells a kit for $19.99 at walmart).

The low-side port is on the left side (if you are standing in front of the vehicle looking into the hood). it is covered with a black cap.

Follow instructions on the recharge kit.

There are 5 nuts that need to be removed. 2 on the drivers side under the plastic cover and 2 on the passenger side near the back. The 5th nut is in the center on the floor and is attached to a v-cable that is also attached to the back of the seat. After the bolts are removed the seat needs to be lifted straight up to get the tabs at the top of the seat out of the holders.

The rear seat is not intended to be removed. You can remove the center seat and slide the rear on forward into it's place.

It is normal for fuel tanks to develop positive and negative pressure as the car operates and the temperature changes.

Timing is set by the PCM and is not adjustable.

It shouldn't. Get the brakes serviced as soon as possible. If you can do it yourself, make sure the calipers are releasing properly and that the slides are well lubricated. Also make sure that the rear adjusters are installed correctly and that the parking brake cable is not rusted or binding.

it is on the back valve cover, you can't see it unless you remove the intake plenum.

On a 2001, it is at the front driver's side of the car. It is a small black plastic handle that resembles a two ball snowman. There is a clip that holds it in place that is also black.

If it has a rear orifice it's in the rear unit under the roof panel.

The alternator is mounted low on the rear of the engine.
