The removal and replacement of an oil pan is a moderate to skilled level installation. The vehicle should be safely shop lifted or placed on rated jack stands (never a spare tire jack). The engine may need to be supported. The bolts should carefully be removed to avoid stripping the block. Once the pan is off the residual gasket material should be cleaned/scraped from the block to ensure a clean mating surface. The new pan can be installed with a gasket in reverse order. Once completed the engine can be refilled with oil and started to observe for leak integrity.

It is a rubber stop with a little rubber piece you have to pull, located on the side of the transmission under the battery. you will need a very long and flexible funnel to fill it and when you do fill until the fluid is level with the bottom of the hole. around 2.5 qts i believe. Very hard to find, took me hours.

Rear Rotor Removal.

remove wheel.

Remove the 14mm bolt holding the e brake "L" shaped hanger before the caliper, pry ebrake arm forward and remove cable end from ebrake arm

locate the 12mm bolt on the right hand side of the caliper, remove bolt swing caliper upwards to ensure looseness. locate 2 17mm bolts holding brake caliper bracket to hub assembly, remove bolts. locate 10mm bolt holding brake line to strut, remove.

lift brake caliper off wheel assembly careful to not hang weight by brake line. pull rotor off of the wheel studs.

the fuse regulates the voltage that comes back from the alternator to the battery and system without it you push to much power to the system and it will turn on your battery light and possibly blow your battery and ect....

Loosen the belt tensioner. Make sure that the belt can be removed easily. Replace the belt with a new one. Check that belt is clean before installing. Clean the pulleys if you have to.

Tighten the belt tensioner to set proper tension.

first of all you need to take of screws on the coner of the bumper and the inside then under the bumper once you have done that there are 4 screws that hold the headlight on the bottom of the light on the passanger side it is easy to take off but on the driver side you need to go under the car between the radiator then you must unplug the headlight and it comes out i just did for my 95 it should be the same for 97.

One of sensors is failing, maybe the O2 sensor(s).

it's on the right side of the engine at the very top. it would be closest to you. there is a electronic harness clip that slides into it. it's right above the EGR exhaust port and to the right.

Doesn't make any difference really what size the engine is unless it has dual heads that both need to be changed, of course. If you have the right tools an knowhow it's reasonably quick, but you are probably going to find that the head is pretty well siezed on the studs that come up from the block, so even if you can get all the nuts off without screwing them up, you will probably want the special gripping tools that will allow you to pull those studs and replace them with new ones. You also have to figure out if you have a timing chain holding that sucker on there, or a timing belt. If it's a belt you'll want to replace it anyway, but if it's a chain, they can be very hard to get off. Then you always have to wonder if you put the thing back on again properly, and you have to do it all without making a mistake that will probably drive a valve through the top of a piston. I'd seriously invest 20 bucks in the handbook if I were you.
