Not easily! No shortcuts...you must remove the transmission, driveshafts, REMOVE THE ENTIRE ENGINE, hood, suspension, and disassemble basically the whole engine to get the crankshaft out. My #3 and #4 rod bearings spun! Took out my piston rods too. My theory is the harmonic balancer (crankshaft pulley) was chipped in the outer rim where the alternator belt goes. Someone stupid tried to pry or use a large 3 prong puller and broke pieces off it to change the timing belt. This totally unbalanced the pulley which is HARMONIC BALANCED to precision and it's supposed to go to RPM's red line without wobbling or going out of balance. Think of a tire without balancing and going over 100 mph! BY THE WAY, to REMOVE THE CRANK PULLEY YOU MUST USE A SPECIAL PULLER FROM AUTO ZONE or parts house, SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR CHRYSLER ENGINES and it comes with a round insert about the size and thickness of a pencil which MUST GO IN THE HOLE WHERE THE CRANK PULLEY BOLT WAS and the 3 prong pulley goes on the INSIDE OF THE PULLEY (you can feel the recesses with your fingers on the inside of the pulley behind the 3 center prongs, around back the center of the pulley. Then the center screw of the puller goes on top of this rod. Anything else WILL NOT WORK! It does not have a half moon key to center it! It goes on by friction and pressure from the bolt (105lbs of torque).

It's a real treat! Piece of crap design by Chrysler that is why I will NEVER buy a Chrysler powered car. EVER! I don't care how inexpensive it is... Just did an 95 Eclipse 2.0L non turbo 420A crankshaft removal and repair. Took me forever because most auto parts DO NOT CARRY even the sealant (anaerobic sealant) that Chrysler uses to assemble the engine without gaskets and it costs $20 for the sealant tube plus the special primer spray another $20. Cannot use any other type of sealant because this sealant is designed to harden WITHOUT exposure to air. That's nothing compared to the price of other components, bearings, gaskets, seals, etc... if you can find them!!! Called the dealer for some parts and they did not have them!!! So many steps and you must do it step by step forward and then when assembling without skipping ahead or you will have to re-do it again! Trust me...If you can, get rid of it. I am getting rid of mine as soon as it's broken in. Great body design and looks great but...I am going back to Honda and I should have stayed with Honda in the first place. What a nightmare! Might be cheaper to just buy a rebuilt or guaranteed used engine for around $600.00. Not counting my labor, I am past the $700.00+ on parts and fluids, seals, etc... Never again!!!!!! Not to mention the headaches and wasted time because there is no good references on the web. Wait until you have to get the manual tranny fluid for it!!! LOL!

All body pieces for the 1995 through 2000 Stratus are interchangable. Also, most pieces between the Breeze and Cirrus from those years are interchangable as well. However, the tailights, bumpers, and other small pieces may not. Doors between all three cars are interchangable.

You need to drive your car for 15-20 minutes. After that park it on a flat surface. While holding the break pedal and idling go through all gears with 3-5 secs stop at each gear. After going through all gears and back. Put the car in neutral. The engine must run all the time. Open the hood and take out the transmission fluid dipstick. The level of fluid on it should be somewhere in between low and high.

The 1996 Mitsubishi headlight fuses are in the fuse box. The fuse box is in the engine compartment. There are two separate fuses for the headlights. The location of the fuses can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.

If a shop does it does it anywhere from 2,000 to 3,500 all depends on what you want done and the shop.

It depends on the model (RS/GS/GT). The car has no governor and will travel as fast as it physically can (aerodynamics, horsepower, torque, gravity, etc)

You will have to test the resistance on it to make sure it is within specs.

Alot of Vehicle speed sensors are located by the differential of the trans (so it can measure speed from the output of the trans). The most common problem I have seen with them is either heat from the exhaust mixed with age, the outside weather(winter areas like Wisconsin and salt on roads does wonders with the underbody), and wiring problems (from weather or age.)

it cost me $360 for all belts and water pump replacement.. and make sure you buy the belt with 153 teeth... not the one with 150, b/c that's for the 420A. oh btw.. its good to go ahead and replace the water pump while youre at it... b/c i promise it'll save money later!

Depends on the year. but the 95-99 you have to drop the front bumper cove off and there are a few bolts holding it in and do not forget to undo the bulbs and do not touch them, if you do whipe them off before you put them back in. and if this doesnt solve anything. buy the eclipse,eagle talon breakdown book. costly but helps in the long run... I have a 99 GST and I have changed both headlights and did not need to remove the bumper cover. theres (1) electical harness and I did have to pull the signal out of the old light assembly to remove it for the new I believe there were 4 bolts in each light.

The coil on the relay should read about 70 ohms
