the timing mark is on the pullie itself its a small notch .... to get to your timing belt you have to remove the belts, motor mount, and the pullies, then remove the plastic cover then you can access your timing belt .... it looks worse than it really it

This is one of those questions that can almost not be answered. It really all depends on your skill level if you plan to do it yourself. It can cost quite a bit either way, of course cheaper if you DO decide to do it yourself.

Yes - depending upon the year, several kits may be available. The 2G DSM (95-99) has a popular kit manufactured by Hahn Racecraft, which utilizes a 16G and comes in both intercooled and non-intercooled versions. The Star turbo kit was another popular model for early adopters, however the documentation and support for this kit was severely lacking in comparison to HRC. Both kits provided similar performance at similar price points, and slightly bettered the performance of stock turbo DSMs. Many smaller shops may have produced limited run kits, but none with the following and install base of HRC and Star.

The 3rd generation Eclipse has a few kits put out by various performance shops, but none seem to have the following of the 2nd generation. Unfortunately, the 3G is viewed as the downfall of the Eclipse, and the 4G is an even porkier rendition.

if its a four cylinder it has four if its a v6 it has six a spark plug per cylinder

I just replace rotors and pads on my 01 eclipse gt for $100 canadian. This is the price for the parts only. Labour was extra.

There is one to the left of the steering wheel on the dash kinda on the side by door hinges and also another one under the hood on drivers side kind of in the middle of the fender.

Its inside the fuel tank on the left (looking from behind the car at the tank) side of the tank there should be a wire going to it. the right side is the sending unit.

Timing Belt

Be sure it is a 4g63, non turbod eclipses (rs and gs models) between 1995 and 1999 use the 420a engine (which you can buy turbo kits for too) But if it is a 4g63 than the answer is yes, you would have to buy the correct turbo kit (turbo, oil lines, turbo exhaust manifold, intercooler, piping, etc) and tuning software (DSMlink). It is a good bit of work if you are not experienced with cars and building them. To turbo a non turbo car is is important to make sure the engine can handle it and SHOULD be rebuilt properly to ensure that it will last. If you are serious about this than I suggest reading up on dsmtalk.com and dsmtuners.com both are forums about everything 4G63 and even the 420a engines (non turbo'd eclipse/talon 1995-1999)

Since the Saturns used a hydraulic clutch system, about the only things that can squeak are the pivot points of the pedal assembly. Just use some penetrating spray lube, preferably something that will last a little longer than WD40, some prefer spray lube that includes PTFE.

Just take a look under the dashboard and give the clutch pivot points a good shot of spray lube.

There is no simple way. One options you might have is to disassemble the filling channel and using a hand pump or automatic one (if you have it) to pump the gas.

If you have automativ transmission, then it's ATF+4.

You have to purchase headlights with halo, stock lights can't be modified to have such option. You can get halo headlights from Ebay.

Most Mitsubishi engines are interference engines so change the timing belt as per factory recommendations.

You must open the hatch, remove the plastic strips then you must unbolt the tail lamp assembly and remove the bulb.
