When trading in a vehicle and its upside down how should numbers look on paper?

Most lenders will not accept or consider an installment contract with a negative figure. In otherwords, The dealer is forced to increase the sales price by a factor equal to the negative equity, which balances out the buyers order and contract. (Be aware of the actual trade value(ACV) found in the NADA, KELLY Blue or Black Book.) It is questionable in regards to the integrity of the deal, but promoted by the indirect lender that the dealer is getting your financing through. I was a director of Finance for a mega dealer in the St Louis area for a number of years. The questionable and often seamly unetehical tactic is usually promoted by the Banking Industry. However, remember that the dealer will often use the increased trade value as a tool to capture your business by presenting the inflated trade value as the real value(ACV) and thus taking your attention away from the inflated sale price. A personal side note. Nobody gets a great deal, unless somebody screwed up.

The most common and accepted font for business and professional use is Times New Roman.

How are mla and apa similar?

MLA (Modern Language Association) and APA (American Psychological Association) styles are both citation formats used in academic writing to attribute sources and avoid plagiarism. They emphasize the importance of proper documentation and provide guidelines for in-text citations and reference lists. Both styles require a consistent format for presenting information, including author names, publication dates, and titles, though they differ in specific formatting rules and the types of sources typically cited. Ultimately, both aim to enhance clarity and credibility in scholarly communication.

How do you write a reference list in the MLA writing style?

Your list of references in an MLA paper will be called "Works Cited," and that is the title that should go at the top of the page in the center. (This is not the same thing as the header, which is where your last name and the page number go.)

Remember, punctuation is important.

After the Works Cited, you would list each entry alphabetically by author. List the author (last name, comma, first name, period), title (book or main publication title, comma, article or short work title), publisher, publication city, and date (publisher, colon, city, comma, date), and page numbers of the borrowed material (i.e. 32-46).

Other things that you would need to include can be found at this site owl.English.purdue.edu/owl/resource/557/01/, depending on the *type* of entry... websites require the URL and don't always have page numbers, magazines require the magazine title and the article title, etc... each entry should have a hanging indent, meaning that the first line is flush with the left margin and the rest of the entry is indented five spaces. You do not have to do this by hand if you have a word processing program. They can do it automatically.

There is an example here ccc.commnet.edu/mla/sample.shtmlif you are looking for an overall look. If you need details about how to enter a movie or a book with multiple authors, or other types of entries, use the link in the previous paragraph.

Also, the definative authority is the MLA Guide, which I believe is in its sixth edition. It can be found at most public and academic libraries, or can be purchased at any university/college bookstore, or most retail book dealers.

How do you properly list works cited?

Depends on teacher and subject

It depends on the style asked for. One is the APA (American Psychological Association) style. The other most used one is MLA. Either of their sites lists specific rules. Each is very different, and very specific about how to do a reference page (which is what you are doing when you are listing works cited).

Every author you cite in your paper must be in the reference list, and vice versa. So check and see what the specific teacher or professor wants, in terms of style. APA and MLA also have very good manuals in hardcopy. There is also a style known as the "Chicago Style", but it is not used as much as the other two. Again, it all depends on your subject and course requirements.
