Also listening to loud music and TV are also a source of noise pollution.

People need to develop a civic responsibility so that they may not trouble others.

2 causes of noise pollution?

A study was carried out to determine levels and factors that influence noise pollution from small-scale industries (SSIs) in Dar es Salaam City Tanzania. Two sites for wood- and metalworks industries were investigated. Both sites exhibited equivalent noise levels higher than 90.0 dBA, the permissible exposure level limit for occupational noise. At a woodworks SSI, noise levels were found to correlate well with machine-use age, wood-feed speed, and wood-cut depth. Additionally, noise emanating from both types of SSIs was found to influence the level of environmental noise in the neighborhood of the SSIs. One woodworks SSI was found to have a circle of influence of about 140 m. The study concluded that SSIs present a serious source of environmental noise pollution in their neighborhoods. Noise pollution from SSIs is greatly influenced by the type of SSIs and the activities they carry out, the type and age of machines they use, their location relative to residential areas in their vicinity, and in-house noise control measures.

How has the clean air act helped reduce air pollution?

By cause and effect. The additional expenses on industry, the promise of carbon credits from the Rothschild bank, regulated by UNEP's Agenda 21 - and by moving the dirtier industries to China. The proposed plan China would pay the Rothschild bank the carbon debt. It's win win. We not only get cleaner air, we also potentially get richer by being the ones who control it. Well, not 'we' exactly. Not entirely practical for the ones who like real hard work, who can actually build things with the science they get taught. No work available for those skills. No. You can mail out warning letters to those who have a slightly darker opacity of smoke coming from their chimney than 30%. Just give up your dreams of using applied sciences and breathe that healthy air conditioned air. Smile, your a healthy bureaucrat now!

What is the name of the instrument used to measure noise pollution?

Air pollution may be due to:

  • particulate matter by different sizes
  • odour
  • haze
  • gaseous substances

These materials can be measured by various monitors using samples taken at the site and measured by:

  • local sensors/monitors
  • light absorption and refraction
  • human observation (organoleptic observation) by trained observers

Noise pollution involves sound measurement of:

  • continuous noises
  • impact frequencies
  • peak frequency identification

Why people can and cannot concentrate with a background noise?

What are the causes of noise pollution in the society?

(People don't usually think of this, but imagine - how loud is it when you slam your car door? Pretty tolerable. But imagine thousands of people doing so.
