First look under the visors, pull the latch handles away from the window. The lid will open slightly. Then push forward the drivers seat and look under the lid, you will find a spot to pull a cable which will release the top from the rear clips. After that pull up on the rear of the top and hold upward while you push one of the yellow buttons to lift the lid. One of these buttons is also located under the lid and there is also one inside the door jam. Once it raises you simply lower the back section and pull the front section up and back, it will seat itself in place. Then close the lid. It is quick and simple

How much do the rotors cost on a 95 Oldsmobile cutlass?
The 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass brake rotors will cost approximately $40 per wheel. The rotors can be as cheap as $25 at some discount auto-parts stores.
Yes, if there are two cooling fans one operates off of engine coolant temp. and the other operates off the A/C. The one that operates off of coolant temp will run for a while then shut off, then run again and continue to cycle. This is to keep engine at operating temperature. The other one runs when the A/C is on because when the compressor engages it puts a load on the engine, which will create heat beacuase the engine works harder. as long as both fans operate your okay.
Why does your 94 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme over heat?
There are 2 reasons that I've heard of that may cause a car to overheat: 1. You need a new thermostat--the engine coolant is not getting into the engine 2. You need to replace the head gasket on the engine--this can be thousands of dollars, so maybe have the thermostat checked out first. If the radiator only comes on when the A/C is turned on, the Radiator coolant switch may need changing
How do you bleed brakes on a 1978 Oldsmobile cutlass?
There's a simple way to do it...especially if you don't have an assistant. Start at the passenger side rear. Loosen the bleeder screw. It will gravity bleed. Loosen the master cylinder cap while doing this. Keep the fluid level topped off and allow it to bleed until you feel that it has bled enough fluid to fill the line from the master cylinder to the rear. Next the driver side rear. This won't take as much as the passenger side as you are only needing to bleed it from the T intersection. Next passenger side front then driver side. That's it. You should have a good solid pedal now....assuming everything else is in good shape.
Check the fuel pressure regulator or the vaccum line to it If you have to have the gas peddle pushed all the way to the floor to start it that is a for sure sign
Can you open a 1994 Cutlass with power door locks with a slim Jim?
That's easy. Of course you can. But the trick is not a slim jim. It is a coat hanger. I locked my keys in my car once outside of my work place. So I took a coat hanger, brought it down towards the sliding lock mechanism itself, and then poked up and down until I figured out where the mechanism was. Then simply slide it to the left, try not push too much of the hanger in otherwise you won't have the necessary leverage and the hanger will bend.
