The latin dances on Dancing with the Stars have been: Bolero, Cha cha cha, Jive, Lambada, Mambo, Paso Doble, Rumba, Salsa, and Samba. There have also been Swing Dances (Considered Latin on the show) such as: Charleston, Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, and West Coast Swing.

The most obvious symbols in "Dances with Wolves" are the two mentioned in the title: The wolf, and the "dance."

The key to understanding the symbolism of the relationship between Lt. Dunbar and the wolf is comparing the relationship between Lt. Dunbar and the Sioux.

Now forgive me if this is not entirely precise since it has been about a decade since I watched the movie. But as I recall, Dunbar is at first afraid of the wolf, as the wolf is of him. Over time, Dunbar gets over his fear and becomes fascinated with the wolf. He gains the wolf's trust by feeding him. Eventually, they become used to each other. It is unusual for these two natural enemies to become friends, but Dunbar's willingness to "get to know" the wolf leads him to understand that the stereotypical view of the wolf as a savage killer is not accurate.

Compare this with the way Dunbar relates to the Sioux. His first experiences are pretty unpleasant. They attempt to steal his horse and later one acts in a very aggressive manner (one might say snarling) towards the Lieutenant. But over time, he overcomes his fear and tries to establish a relationship with them. They begin to accept and trust him after he "feeds" them (almost literally) by helping them to find the buffalo. The Sioux warriors and White soldiers are also "natural enemies" and it is unusual to develop this relationship.

The Sioux ridicule Dunbar's "dancing" with the wolf. The soldiers similarly (though in a much more savage manner) ridicule Dunbar's relationship with the Sioux. The murder of the wolf by the soldiers, which Dunbar desperately tries to stop, foreshadows what the white soldiers will be doing to the Sioux. Dunbar is trying to get the soldiers to see that the wolf is not a threat, as he is also trying to convince them that the Sioux can be allies. Their bigotry, however, cannot be overcome in either case.

So, in a nutshell, the wolf represents the Sioux (and the Native American population in general) and the "dance" represents the relationship between Dunbar and the Sioux. The man "Dances with Wolves" is the man who, contrary to the prejudice of the time, is willing to build a friendship with the "enemy."

Just Dance is about being drunk at a club. As you can hear in the lyrics before the chorus "Whats going on on the floor, I love this record baby but I can't see straight anymore, Keep it cool, What's the name of this club, I can't remember but it's all right I'm all right." She says it's all going to be okay; that she doesn't need to leave just because she's drunk. All she want's to do is dance.

A performing arts company is a group of individuals that puts on an ongoing series of performances like dance pieces or plays, as compared to groups who are assembled specifically for one project. A community theater may have members who perform more than one job, (ex: an actor might also help build the sets). Some performing arts companies put on travelling shows, but most have a home venue. Many of these companies perform works written by its own members and have revolving roles. The directing role may be handed off from project to project, whereas some companies have a resident director.

Many years ago, Africans would jump around the campfire and sing at the same time but things have drastically changed. African dance in recent times is modeled after the western world but still retaining the background African culture.

There are many different types of dances. Ballet is a type of dance that can often be useful in other types of dances. Jazz is a type that includes dramatic movements and can incorporate improvisation. Tap uses the dancers feet to create a rhythm. Hip-hop is a more contemporary form of dance that evolved from the hip-hop culture and includes dance moves such as krumping. Improvisation is a main element in this style. Swing dances involves dancing with a partner and was very popular in the 20's. Country and Western dancing involves styles such as square dancing and is set to just that type of music. Belly dancing is a popular dance in countries such as India and involves rhythmic movements of the belly. Flamenco, Salsa, and Cha-Cha are all very spicy dances that originate from South American culture. There are several other styles of dances as well.

Artistic paintings were existing in the Philippines even in the 16th century for religious propaganda. Later water color paintings, landscapes, battle scenes, etc. were introduced. Bamboo poles and bamboo sticks were traditional dances practiced even today. Weaving on looms, weaving baskets, etc. were other traditional practices that influence the Philippines today.

Rave music is a sub-genre of Club Music, which is generally just recognised as electronic dance music (EDM).

Furthermore, rave music is actually a collection of frenetic EDM subgenres such as Gabba, Happy Hardcore and Drum & Bass. Typically, rave music is music that is played at a rave club - somewhat obviously.

It's a cultural event consisting of great dancers and companies from one or several places (often different cities or even countries) performing at one location for a certain time (anything between a weekend to a full month, say, depending on how the festival is organized and the way the performances are scheduled.) To really find out what a dance festival is and what they are like, try attending one. They are very interesting and always have nice shows and great atmosphere.
