Radio is limited by its own design. AM & FM bands are frequency transmitted as radio waves. However since earth is round waves travels directly they do not bend. So as a rule the higher the frequency the more direct they are FM frequency is considered as line of sight transmission AM will have more range since it operates at lower frequency. At very low frequency it is possible to transmit around the earth by using the ionosphere curvature

Select the station you want to save. Push and hold the #1 button for a few seconds. The station will be set to the #1 button. Continue to your next station selection then push and hold #2 button and so on.

Boredom or annoyance

The car came with 2 cards with the code written on them. If you can't find these cards or it was not written down in your owner's manual, you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off it. With this serial # Honda can supply the code. Better write it down for future battery replacement. found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood (03 element) Also found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood. (I think that's where the radio antenna comes through to the roof. Maybe they thought that was a logical place to put it!)

This is normal for Navigator, the radio will play, and the windows will run up and down for up to 5 minutes after the ignition is turned off. Just open the drivers door to over ride it. They do that so if you listening to a radio program you can hear the end without having the car running. Most newer Lincolns do this.

There should be a fuse in the fuse panel that controls the power outlet. Check the fuse first, then look for a loose wire connection.

Plug your turn table into your input sound card (line in on your sound card) Use a program like Nero Media Player, or any digital recording program ( Sound Blaster or Wave Studio) Tell it to save the file as mp3, that simple. Advanced tip: if you record at a rate of 59594 instead of 44100 then you can play the 33 1/3 speed at 45 RPM and save about 30% time in recording from a record. Then convert back to 44100 and it will be normal speed. I do this on ALL my LP to MP3 recordings... The above is for more advance type computer users.

it depends. Almost every station now has a set rotation of records. Each song is researched and researched to ensure the listeners want for each track. Stations spend thousand of dollars on media test, daily call outs, and also take into account request. They also look at what other stations are doing with other songs. Some stations every watch for crowd response at live events. But the best station programers know their market and use their guts ( rarely happens now with all the big corps owning radio). Stations can have anywhere from 90-200 songs in rotation.

All radio stations play new music. Alot of radio stations however do not play music that is not under a major label. There are many people trying to make submissions for public air time.They are still waiting to hear their voices.Everyday new music is being heard.

Static crackling should not be audible under the following circumstances: 1). On AM radio, when listening to stations that are sufficiently near/strong. 2). On FM radio, anytime. If static is heard constantly, here are some suggestions for the source: 1). Defective fluorescent light or light dimmer nearby. 2). Electric motor nearby with deteriorated brushes or other internal sparking. 3). Radio is defective. Note: Intermittent static crackling during nearby thunderstorms is normal and interesting, especially on an AM radio.

The definition of what it is, is actually in your question. It's a receiver that operates in the radio frequency spectrum. Anything that has a transmitter is said to transmit in radio frequency or `RF`. The term radio is short for radiotelegraphy, which has become generic over the years.

Where does the radio frequency start? Technically, it' at 10,000 hz and higher. That's not to say that there's lower frequency transmitters (The U.S. Gov't uses 2 hz. to reach our submarines when they're under water, but that's more of an exception than the rule. The radio frequency spectrum can extend into the gigahertz range for things such as satellite communications, and as our technology advances, we could eventually see frequencies in the teraherts.

So a radio frequency receiver is anything that will receive a a frequency in the radio frequency range.

It is Alpine made unit and normally radio comes with security code printed on the code card. Code entry insturctions are provided in the manual.

In case you lost the code card, you can obtain the original code from dealers, but you have to proove ownership and provide the VIN of the car etc.

Radio waves and ultraviolet waves are the same physical phenomenon.
The difference is that radio waves have a much greater wavelength.
(That's equivalent to saying that they have a much lower frequency.)
