Carefully pry up the tray in the top center of the dash.

Remove the one Philips head screw that you exposed under the tray.

Pull the frame assembly with the two A/c vents to the rear.

Caution: Do not remove the connector from the air bag light on the back of the frame. You may get a fault that you can't reset.

Remove 4 Philips head screws from the radio brackets.

Yes but you will need an installation kit. You can get them at lots of places like Walmart, Best Buy, Radio Shack. If you don't already have the radio, Crutchfield sends an intall kit with purchase of a radio. You can also find them on Ebay. I highly recommend a kit as it makes the job so much easier, especially the wiring.

The attena is actually on the rear window. If you look carefully, there are two loops on the top of the window just above the rear defrost lines.

The easiest way?

Remove the center console and then the stereo, on the back of the stereo is a serial number. Call your local dealer and usually (with a little smooth talking) if you have gone to the trouble of retrieving the serial number they give it to you. The price they charge is to do the same thing you just did, remove the console and stereo for the serial.

As far as I have heard, the dealer is really the only place that can retrieve the code for you. Another option is to make sure your security system does not need resetting. Reset directions are in the security manual of the car.

It can get pretty complicated. You need a radio receiver, and you need to be close enough

to the transmitter of the station you want to receive. Also, you need to know that station's

transmit frequency, and tune your receiver to that frequency.

I don't think so. I use the FM antenna that comes with the Sirius radio to broadcast a signal to the FM radio. The problem here is that the built-in antenna on the Windstar is a piece of junk. It barely works as is. I have been told that there is a small amplifier in the right d-pillar that amplifys the antenna signal to the radio. If this is bad or if power has been lost, reception is reduced. I have not found evidence of this amplifier on the schematics. This does not however mean it isn't there. Good luck. Depending primarily on its frequency,radio wave may travel from the tranmitting to the receiving aerial in a number of ways.The most important of these are :

Well, radio stations change from place to place, so I can't give you a specific station, but most Lite Rock stations and some mix stations will play certain Green Day songs like Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends.

Fairly easy,I did it in about 5 mins.(2000 Dakota with Infinity system) You need to pry off the bezel that surrounds the dash. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the bezel,and pop it out of its retaining clips. I had to lower the tilt steering wheel to make room to get it out. Once that is off,you'l lsee the radio. Mine is held in by 2 bolts,just unscrew them and the radio unit will pull out.

well depending on the make and model...i would start by checking all around the dash board...under it, open both driver and passenger side doors and check the sides of your dash. Sometimes they are in your glovebox( older cars mostly), and if that all fails look under your hood. You could always look in your owners manual as well.

the wave guide in the top of the tube in the back may may be a screen only with bigger holes light is higher frequency than microwaves so can see thru smaller holes the tube where the power enters the wave guide may be a solid metal piece but the right size to be transparent

the stuff you put in the microwave may or may not get hot due to its transparency to microwave frequencies

pigments are transparent to different frequencies so your sharpie can be in different colors

TiO2 is opaque to most light light frequencies so it a handy thing to call white pigment

if you make a telescope for looking thru you can use Al or Ag for the mirror

for an IR telescope you cant use Ag its transparent this is sometimes called a cold mirror comes in handy with a microscope if you want to get enough light to see them little guys and not enough IR to boil them
