i have a 54 model and it is behind the non opening sunroof, nearly as far back as it can go.

You can pop them up with a small flat screwdriver. Look carefully and you will see tiny slots. It is just "clicked" in place, no screwing or so.

However there is a temporary fix that can be done until the converter can be properly replaced....simply cut the exhaust pipe just behind the welds on the inlet/outlet tubes of the converter and remove the converter then using 2 exhaust pipe couplings,4 clamps and a small section of exhuast pipe and replace the missing section...This may cause the check engine light to remain on while driving,but the vehicle will be operational,this fix should only temporary as the vehicle will not pass emmission testing...

sounds like either bad earth or there might be water or other debris have got in. take horn off an blow compressed air down it if this doesnt solve it then run some water through but it needs to dry well after. could check horn by "temporary" leads connected direct to the battery. if it works then its a bad earth or relay

To fit a washer pump in a Renault Clio, remove the wipers and scuttle panels. Then undo the 3 nuts. Fit the washer pump and put back the 3 nuts.

Viewing from the front and looking under the bonnet locate the air filter housing.There is a rubber pipe about 20mil. in diameter going into the housing on the left hand side. Trace that back to find that it goes into a metal housing. Attached to that housing is theAGR valve hich looks and operates in the same way as the advance mechanism on the old distributor on a petrol engine. There are two small pipes attached to the AGR valve which connect to a switch which partly conrols the agr valve.

You will need to drain out the old fluid first. Then you can put in the new fluid and test out the vehicle.

Take off the plastic black bit covering the light under the bonnet, remove the cover in the wheel arch, unscrew the cover at the back of the light and pull off the electric connector. There is a metal clip at the top of the bulb push forward towards the headlight and to the side this unhooks the clip which will then drop down, remove and fit new bulb as instructed on the box. Get somebody to hold a small mirror and take a look at the clip before you start, this will help you work it out.

I've been told by a Renault machanic that this problem is caused by a control unit behind the interior fuse box known among Renault people as an UC bic. This must be done by a Renault garage as the unit is coded. However a friend of mine took out the battery and cleaned the fuses and surrounds which were in behind and all electrics worked again!

Remove driveshafts (drain oil), undo linkage and electrical connections, undo support under battery, undo bolts to engine, remove gearbox from underneath.
