no.because some scientist do make robots .robots do exist they don't make them as u see them on tv they make them to do certain things they actually exist.

The same way that a Remote Control device can control, for instance, a TV. There needs to be at least a transmitter at one end and an equivalent receiver at the other end, or a suitable combination of both, for effective control/communication to occur. you could get infra-red kits that interface to your computer through one of the available ports (Serial, parallel, USB, P/S2, etc.) and have a wireless component that could be embedded within your "robot"'s electronics, thus giving you a connectivity between the computer and robot.
