Did alexander Fleming die of a heart attack?
Fleming died of a heart attack on 11 March 1955 in London, United Kingdom. He was cremated and his ashes were interred at St Paul's Cathedral.
We know the formula C / d = pi. pi must stay a constant. That is why the ratio of the circumference C and the diameter d must have always the same length unit
How did Gilbert Newton Lewis die?
The coroner's report says coronary artery disease, but the immediate cause may have been a liquid hydrogen cyanide leak in his laboratory.
Which scientist said that sun is the center of the solar system?
the notion that the earth was the centre of the solar system (and indeed the universe) was an assumption by ancient civilisations and all scientists seem to have agreed with this idea until Galileo Galilei noticed that this was not the case and published his idea but it was not instantly accepted because the bible was based on ancient ideas and as a result the roman catholic church attempted to stop the spread of this idea because it dissagreed with many of the verses in the bible.
it was probaly this assumption that everything in the bible was true that made it take so long for anyone to think to question it.
it is worth noting that Galileo was a devout catholic and was not trying to challenge the church.
What does it mean when a scientist fails to reject a hypothesis?
It means that the experiment is consistent with the hypothesis. It adds to the credibility of the hypothesis.
What year was the SI Metric System accepted by scientists all over the world?
The SI system was established in 1960.
How was Bohr's atomic model similar to Rutherford's model?
they aren't the same. the current atomic model has the electrons moving freely in the atomic cloud while the bohr model has the electrons in a set orbit.
A process used by scientists to find answers to questions or solve a problem?
Is a process used by scientists to find answers to questions or solve a problem
You get over it. You say "screw everyone" and make yourself happy. The only way you can cope is to be happy with who you are. You listen to music. You go for a walk.
What due scientists think will happen to the universe?
It will continue expanding. The details of other things that will happen are somewhat fuzzy, but one way or the other, the time will come when there will be no more available energy (the so-called "heat death"). The Wikipedia article on "Fate of the Universe" gives some additional details of what is likely to happen.
What kind of scientist deciphers hieroglyphics?
A scientist who reads Egyptian hieroglyphics can be described any number of ways, such as:
During what war was the hydrogen bomb invented?

Richard Lawrence Garwin, American physicist, produced a design in 1952 at IBM Watson Laboratory at Columbia University. This was during the period that the US was involved in the Korean War (1950-1953).

Why do scientist accept the big bang theory?
The BB model makes predictions about what we should see from our Earth. Other models predict that these things should NOT be seen, or (at best) fail to explain why they would be there.
As the predictions made by the BB (cosmic microwave background radiation, ratio of hydrogen to helium to deuterium, age of oldest stars, no old galaxies far from our Earth) are all confirmed as being true, honest scientists have little choice but to accept the BB as the correct model for our Universe.
What was the IQ of Louis Pasteur?
Intelligence testing began in France by Dr. Alfred Binet in 1904. Pasteur died in 1895. The IQ test had not been yet stablished so we can only pressume. By his work, I would rate him between 177 and 185. Some of my fellows argue that he could be around 155 and 160 since he did not reach topics taken by Albert Einstein. I rest my case in the fact that this other topics were not his type of work to choose from. In fact he could be concidered the Einstein of microbiology and chemistry for his discoveries and work.
What year did a satellite go into orbit around venus?

Did Guglielmo Marconi have two wives?

Did the Roman Catholic Church support Galileo's theory that the earth moves around the sun?
It's a rather more complicated answer that "yes" or "no." In fact, most of the intellectuals in the Church in Galileo's time thought the heliocentric version of the Solar System was the correct one, BUT -- and here's the catch -- the Church had managed to get itself associated with Aristotlean thought, which, with most of the Ancient Greek cosmologies, except that of Aristarchos of Samos, accepted the geocentric version. In short, the Church was afraid that putting out the Copernican view (i.e., heliocentrism) would so upset the common folk that those who lose their respect for the Church. It was all rather like one of those dramas in which the intrepid investigator uncovers some secret but the powers that be (CEOs, government officials, hospital administrators, etc.) tell him to cover it back up because to reveal it publically would "cause panic."
What is so painfully ironic to the Galileo Affair is that nothing in Scripture or Church teaching really demands the Earth be the center of the Universe. There are, of course, references in the Old Testament that sort of make the assumption that the Earth is the most important place (other that heaven, of course) but these are easily seen as comments of perspective, which is to say, they were all made by people who happened to be living on the Earth. Even with our modern and presumably correct understanding of celestial mechanics, we still say things like "sunrise" and "sunset" instead of "Earthturn."
What is commonly presented as a conflict between Science and Religion would be better described as a conflict between Control and Threats to Control.
What experimental evidence did Thomson have for the atoms of all elements contain electrons?
The deflection of cathodic rays was the source of inspiration for Thomson.
