It's probably not a motor problem. What led up to the problem? Did it just appear or did someone work on the electrics and then the problem cropped up? Where do the sparks fly from? It may be a solenoid problem, but the symptoms reveal little.

they really go about 60mph on grass flat surface or on sand or a softer terrain they will do about 50-55 mph. The top speed is about 58-60 mph

i have one and i have a K&N airfilter , stage 3 jet kits DMC dual afterburner exhaust and a bunch of other parts and mine does about 75mph maybe a little faster, on a 12 acre field i got it up to 74mph at about 9000rpms according to my vapor trail tech...

Most likelly a carburetor problem. If your unfamiliar with there carbs the make a book on their carbs that has a trouble shooting guide in it. There available all over the web! This can also be a problem with something as simply as dirty fuel. With the carb a good cause could be that there is not enough air getting into the carb when under a spontanious load. Also, depending on hp engines can only handle so much of a load.

We had the same problem with ours. We tried a few things. We cleaned the battery posts to make sure there was a good connection. Then we reconnected the safety wire underneath the seat. It's the one that kills the engine if you fall off. My father preferred to drive without it, and had no problems for quite a while. Then, for no apparent reason, it would die when he tried to take off. Reconnecting the seat wire seemed to take care of the problem.

right now its pretty even bewtween the Can-Am Renegade 800, Polaris sportsman 850xp, and the Arctic Cat Thundercat 1000, or maybe a Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS
