I was recommended an app by a friend where you can post to social media automatically. Where you can schedule posts, and create a backlog of content which will post even if you're asleep!

The app is called "Buffer" and it's transformed my social media life!

Since downloading it a couple of months ago, I now have a system in place.

I'll create all my content for the week on Sunday, load it all into the Buffer app, then that's me done for the week, especially for LinkedIn and Twitter posting.

What is exact social media marketing and how we can use it?

Social Media Marketing is more involved than just Facebook, in my opinion. Depending on what your business is, I feel there are very different levels of ROI that can be seen. Some business models definitely work better in the social media world than others. To effectively use Social Media, you need to dedicate resources to be active in the social communities. Facebook pages are great, and Facebook ads can work, but if you are not actively engaging with your fans, and posting updates and valuable things to your Fans, then it does not accomplish much. If you can give online coupon codes to your fans, or promote new products that will add value to your users, then it can be valuable. Same goes for Twitter. Having a Twitter account can be a really interesting way to interact with people. Resources like TweetDeck can help you monitor your brand, and specific keywords across twitter. If you have a brand people are talking about, you can monitor it, and reach out to people, either thanking them for the mention, or responding to any negative feedback that might be out there. If you actively monitor this "Noise" about your brand, it can be a really powerful marketing tool (again, within the right industry). I have found that this seems to be most effective in B2C markets. B2B markets are a bit tougher to utilize these sites, but it can be done, if you commit to it. Other effective social media sites to think about are things like YouTube. Videos don't need to be professional quality, but just be interesting or fun. Having a blog is a great way to produce valuable content and interact with your customers. There are a million other community type sites, you just have to look for them. It has become so popular, that many of these sites are forming communities around specific industries. You just have to look for your community, and be active. That is the key to Social Media. I have also found it is hard to have an agency handle this type of marketing for you. Take it in-house, and you will have a much more real feel to your interactions, and give people insight into your company and the culture of the employees and company itself.

Does SEO work for social media?

SEO is everywhere.

Social media, which is booming these days, is an excellent opportunity for SEO. For example Google is also getting into social media through a new service termed as google Knol ' http://knol.google.com '. Knol is a mix of Wikipedia, Squidoo, Hub Pages coupled with effective Google technology. If you watch close enough, it's an opportunity for SEO through knol. Utilize anything at its starting stages.

There is also Social Media Optimization (SMO), which has become an extension of Search Engine Optimization and a strong direction where SEO is moving towards.

The purpose of creating social networks basically began as places where people could have access to other known members and share information, thoughts and experiences on different subjects. They have been increasingly growing among web users, to the point that people handle too many accounts to keep track with one or both hands. For online marketing strategies social networks are great sites to promote products, services or brands, approaching customers in a direct way, without any intervention of thirds in the process. Directly hitting the market segment your company is aiming at. Have a marketing strategy for your social communities ready. Know how you are going to reach your potential customers. How are you going to be known in that specific network and what are the options to reach a broader audience. Be constant; work on your communities and build a relation with your members. Answer questions if asked, support people in any way possible, and add value to your corporate concept by attending people´s needs.

I agree with this! search engine optimization is for every web site. You need to do SEO as much as possible to have a good standing in the search engines for the keywords you are vying for.

Help with QB assigned tax line?

Quickbooks has a feature where you can automatically assign an income or expense item to a particular line on the tax return. This is only useful if you plan on directly importing your Quickbooks file into a tax program like TurboTax. It's an attempt to automate the process of preparing the tax return. If you really want to figure out what line would be best, pull out a copy of the tax form you file and see what looks the most applicable. Personally, I'm not a fan of trying to automate this though...
