Is it legal to babysit at 10?

I'm guessing ur the 10 year old. no, that is way too young. Your still a baby your self but when you turn 11, start with babysitting a younger sibling or walking/taking care of other people's pets. When your in middle school (12), then you are ready to start babysitting kids that are around 3-8. Before that though, WAY too young. Most people would rather have a 14 year old that does a good job and wants a lot of money, than a 10 year old who is actually having a playdate with the kid they are supposed to babysitting. It's better if you wait. Good luck though! I started babysitting when i was 12 and i got a lot of money. I tried to get a babysitting job started at 11 but everyone said i was too young and it WAS true. I had to wait another year.

The Florida Statutes do not provide a clear answer as no statute directly addresses the issue. How are judges appointed under the Missouri Plan?

The Missouri Plan (formerly: Missouri NonPartisan Court Plan) is a judicial selection process used by certain States in the US. The Plan combines an appointment process with the popular vote.

Under the Plan, a selection committee provides the Governor of the state with the names of three candidates for office. If the Governor selects one of the candidates within 60 days, that person is appointed to the bench one year; otherwise, the committee makes the selection and appointment.

After a year, the justice runs unopposed on the next general election ballot. If the voters approve his or her retention, then the justice serves the number of years specified for the position in that state's constitution. If the voters oppose retention, the selection process starts over.

Twelve states currently use the Missouri Plan to fill appeals-level judicial vacancies:

# Alaska # Arkansas # Colorado # Indiana # Iowa # Kansas # Missouri # Nebraska # Oklahoma # Utah # Wyoming

Tennessee, Florida and California use individual variations on the Plan.

How does state laws discourage teen smoking?

Honestly, not really. My parents smoke and when I was 18 they would have me get them some smokes. More than half the time the clerks didn't check my ID. My appearance however is different according to people. Some say I look like Im 16 and others think Im 20.

More specifically though, there are signs. At my school teens are discouraged from smoking if they are caught by the school officer but really no fuss is made and the teen simply stub their smoke, apoligize and do whatever.

Other than this there is commercials and posters providing details of what is physically changing as a result. Despite this, I hope really hope the people who sell smokes in stores will be more serious when dealing with the issue as many teens under age can buy the cigarettes fairly easy.

Can you have a license in Georgia if your NC drivers license is revoked?

No. You will have to resolve the suspension issues in IL before you can apply for a license in ANY state.

On the application you would fill out in GA are the questions asking if you have ever had a license in another state & has that license ever been suspended/revoked.

If you answer truthfully, you will be automatically denied. If you lie & say no to both questions, you have committed a criminal offense & could go to jail for fraud, falsifying a legal document or other charges.

Regardless of how you answer those questions, GA will run a license history on you to see if you have had a license before & the status.

Is suicide or attempted suicide against the law in Georgia?

Nope, it's not. Only two states - North and South Dakota - list suicide as a punishable felony crime. Both have been hesitant to enforce the law, however, given the circumstances that must precede the attempt at taking of one's life, and the probable counter-effect to seeking or benefiting from therapy.
Suicide is the act of taking ones own life.

I think that's what you meant. I'm not entirely sure what "Suiside" is.

How do you prevent robbery?

Lowering your odds of being robbed while out on the street is possible through some common sense choices on your part.

  • Pay attention! Crooks look for easy targets and people who are paying attention are not easy targets.
  • Don't be flashy. Showing off how well you are doing with expensive clothes, shoes or jewelry does exactly what it is intended to do, get you attention. Of course, the issue is the attention can turn out to be from bad people.
  • Get and carry a self defense weapon of some type. There are tons to choose from like Stun Guns, Pepper Spray, Kubotans and other many other options. Something as small as a $5.00 Pepper Spray can mean the difference from being a victim or not.

Lastly, especially at night, travel with at least one friend.

How do you find if someone has a permit to carry a gun?

In Texas is it standard procedure to seize a vehicle used in a alleged evading arrest charge?

Any policy would most likely be set by the agency making the arrest and seizure. However, it wouldn't be especially unusual, and it's possible the agency could start forfeiture proceedings against the owner of a vehicle used in a pursuit or other crime.

Added; In addition to the above - there is also the very real problem of WHO to turn your vehicle over to, when you are arrested. Law enofrcement just can't leave it sitting there in the road, so it is impounded for 'safekeeping.' They may also be interested in just WHY it was you were fleeing from them, and if they can develop sufficient probable cause, they may apply for a warrant to search it while it is safely (and legally) maintained in their chain of custody.

Which bullets Will go through a bulletproof vest?

i know a .22 will because of the low velocity of the gun, but when it comes to physics i would have to compare a bullet proof vest to water. a .22 will go through a vest and water. a .38 .45 a 357 ect hits HARD so when shot at a vest they get destroyed from the impact and when shot at water they either bounce off or deteriorate this is pure speculation with a bit of physics so nothing is concrete.

What are the laws for bullet proof vest in Florida?

Depends on state. In Texas, according to Penal Code 46.041, "a person who has been convicted of a felony commits an offense if, after the conviction, the person possesses metal or body armor." == == Protective vest is describe in Common list of controlled goods of EU in article 13 of this list it is sad that crossing of national border is allowed if protective antiballistic vest is on person. So you can cross border with vest on you. As I know in US of America buying of vest is forbidden for persons with criminal record. In many other countries it is allowed to posses vest. ANSWER: Many states make the use of bullet proof armor a penalty enhancer when charging and sentencing a person for the commission of a crime. For instance if you rob a bank with a vest on, you will get more of a sentence than if you did it without one on.
