Xylene or xylol commonly sold as laquer thinner or as fuel works well. It costs about $5 per quart and one typically uses 2 to 6 ounces depending on the severity of the leak. It can take as long as a fortnight for it to do it's job. You can also add about an ounce of Toluene to speed up the process, but don't add more than an ounce of that.

Why adjust idle... if this is a n/a you need to just leave it alone unless you have a consistent idle less than 900 or more that 1100 .... You will get no gain from this and if you don't have a consistent idle there is probably something else wrong.....

The tyre pressure depends on the tyres you have. Most will indicate on the tyre the suggested pressure, near the tyre manufactures name and dimensions.

Ea82 is a naturally aspirated/fuel injected engine. Ea82t is a turbo. The "t" designating its status as a turbocharged engine. 115 hp as opposed to 90. ooooooooooh what a difference!

There are two ways. The quickest is pull the fuse out. But only if the fuse is for the seat belt warning. I will tell you on the fuse box cover. The second: there are 6 screws from the radio to the driver door. They hold the face plate on the dash. Remove them then the face plate slowly there are connection clipped on the other side. Then you will see 4 screws holding the speedometer and odometer. Remove slowly there are connection clipped on the other side. Once you get that off. On the other side of speedometer/odometer find the seat belt fuselight its both a light and a fuse. If you remove it the warning will stop. Put it back the way it was and you are done.

You don't, unless you're so used to buckling up that you don't need it. And if you're not buckling up, shame on you

to response above, you obviously don't own a new Subaru. The seatbelt warning chime is beyond irritating. Why do I need to be warned when the vehicle is in park? Yesterday, my passenger warning chimed with nothing in the seat but a couple CD cases.

The easliest way to do it is to go to the junk yard. ( make sure to measure the length/width/ and area around the center hole before walking all the way out there !! And don't forget a sharp knife.) I found mine on a Mazda 626. i got all 4 of them for $4.00. Didnt have to take apart dash... Didnt have to disconect any electrics... didnt have to pull any fuses... took me a total of 1 hour including the 30 mins. of driving there and back.

Blown Head Gasket! i had same issue. trust me. and don't have any compression tests or hydro carbine tests done it will show up clean. its weird with Subaru's. buy a junkyard engine and have a backyard mechanic put it in. it'll cost $600 with labor. junkyard engines are cheap. find a low milage one.

That usually means your AWD is not working properly.

forgetting to hook up the slip ignition wire

It is located on drivers side panel under the dash. You have to remove the panel as well as the 2 screws that hold the fuse box to the side. Once you do this, you will find it up in the cavity. This is for my 96 Outack, it may be diff on your vehicle. J'

The best thing to do is to buy a wiring harness for your car and new stereo. These are readily available on eBay from $15. Just search for 'stereo wiring harness'.

The turn signal relay for the 1993 Subaru Legacy is located behind the left hand instrument panel. Look on the left hand side of the steering column.

Get the proper hose from advanced(where I have the best price and service). Hose clamps that fit the new hose. Start by removing the lowest hose end by the wipers. Hold it high to not loseing fluid when detached. Drain fluid into a clean bottle. Then remove the end by tfluid tank. Replace with new hose and clamps. Refill with new fluid or the old if clean.

Head bolt torque Tighten in the following stages 1. 29Nm 2. 69Nm 3.Slacken bolts by 180 degrees 4. Slacken bolts a further 180 degrees 5. Bolts 1 and 2 to 34Nm 6.Bolts 3-6 to 15Nm 7. Tighten all bolts by 90 degrees 8. tighten a further 90 degrees Sequence 5 2 4 3 1 6 3 1 6 5 2 4 Bolts 5 3 3 5 are the flywheel side of the engine.
