Under the hood, by the headlights casees (well, actually behind them), you should see two screws/knobs. One if for up/down movement, and the other is for left/right movement. A socketwrench works nicely to adjust the headlights.

The transfer clutches are in the end of the transmission. They are controlled by the duty c solenoid. When the vehicles senses wheel slippage the duty c solenoid closes allowing the fluid to drain out of the area allowing the clutches to engage and drive the rear wheels. When the transfer clutches or duty c solenoid go bad you will feel "torque bind" when taking a tight corner like backing out a parking spot or doing a 3 point turn. Basically it will feel like you are in a truck that is in 4 wheel low range.

Subaru advertises having a full time all wheel drive system. This is true but only because of a technicality. The car is normally 90% front wheel drive and 10% rear wheel drive. This is only because the friction created by the moving fluid around the transfer clutches creates enough drag to drive the rear wheels slightly (10%) Once the car notices the wheels slipping it then closes the solenoid making the car 50-50 front and rear drive. If you google subaru torque bind you will find a ton of pages describing the condition and its cure.

You remove the plastic cover with two "quarter revolve screws"

Then you loosen the battery (or washer fluid container depending on which side it is) and loosen the plastic cap- remove the spring and remove the bulb. Assembly in reversal order

I would like to know how to fix my 1995 subaru legacy wagon 5 speed manua transmission, or if anyone knows or have the electrical wiring and electrical diagram for 1995 subaru legacy 5 speed manua transmission ? Thanks

Not all subaru engines have the bleed screw.Models equipped with the screw is loacted at the top of radiator

It's in the trunk...take the old fuel pump out of the fuel tank carefully and replace with the new. Remove terminals from battery first to be safe and there should be a few bolts and a plug or two holding on the fuel pump tank cover. The fuel pump is actually under the back seat. You have to remove the back seat and you will find the cover to the fuel pump. Removing the pump from the plastic container it sits in is the difficult process.

With difficulty. Tried to remove the one in my 1997 and found that you really do have to remove the entire dash to access it. If you have it out already, try to get your hands on a new heater box, saves the hassle.

NO, it should not be. 2.5L is though. I blew a timing belt on my 95 2.2L, tried cranking it a few times to see what was wrong, and found it to be the timing belt. It never hurt a thing! I put a new belt, pulleys, and water pump in, drove it for the last 24,000 miles, and haven't had a single problem!

Yes of course it has a EJ25 Interference engine, if the timing belt brakes the pistons and valves will hit each other.
